Time to hide your truck purchases from your significant other (until it arrives). I mansplain it to my wife, this way. If I'm going to buy all this stuff anyway (and we can afford it), Wouldn't it make more sense to take advantage of the 20%+ discounts on products that don't generally have discounts?
My last truck build, I purchased roughly $11,000 of parts. Rack, lights, wheels/tires, RTT, ARB twin, etc. I spent less than $8,000. Here's the kicker, It was rigtht about the same time as paying off the last of our debt (conveniently ~$3,000). Of course I said, "I just used the $3,000 I saved on truck parts to pay off our debt". I wouldn't recommend trying this at home.
Things currently at reasonable discounts:
Husky Floor liners
builtright stuff
bedrug
Black Oak lights
Goodyear tires (for USAA banking members)
