I only seem to find the J&l kit listed for the passenger side but the pics all show it on the driver side by the brake booster. Is thay where it goes? I'd prefer if it went there.
Also any fellow Canucks ever order from Raptor racing out of onterrible? 😉

I have two, one in the Aviator and one in the Tremor, both are passenger side. Is there a specific reason you want it on the driver side?

No, I'm saying the descriptions I see say passenger side, but then all the pictures show them on the driver side so is there a driver and passenger mount option?
Reason I thought driver would be better is it mounts closer to the firewall in the pics and the dipstick and fill tube are all on driver side, keeps things symmetrical for my OCD lol

Are you sure it is the J&L one?
This is the one that I installed. Had it on my 2017 and then transferred it over to the 2023.

They say pass side but list a different part number to the one you posted

Here is from another site:

I just looked at the photo that you posted. The engine cover says Powerboost. Could that be why?
Oh, I didn't see that but maybe, when I download the instructions from them for it it gives the install for a mustang so I'm loosing faith in thay place but it's the only cdn site I've found so far that carries them

What about Amazon? I got mine off of there sent to Mexico.

I'm trying not to fund that organization as much as I can help it as they fucked me on a dash cam lately and a couple other items in the recent past, their customer service is going downhill and I don't want to support it.

Should be able to use these instructions aside from (maybe) where you mount the can itself. I liked this one a bit better than J&L/couple people here have good things to say about UPR (not that J&L is bad) They have a driver side option as well.

What does this do? New 2023 Tremor Eb here.

Captures oil/water vapor from the PCV system and collects into a can. This will prevent the blowby going onto the intake valves and coating them thus preventing carbon build up. This will inturn reduce the maintenance need of having your intake valves cleaned sooner down the road. This is purely on what I have read however, we have direct and port injection so the port injection should help clean the intake valves on idle.

Oh ok thanks man. Something like this a poasible warranty issue? I wouldn't think so, since the lines are still there and routed proper.

I have the UPR can installed on mine and have had my truck to the dealer several times since, they have never mentioned anything about it. To your point, I wouldn't think so either since you are not changing the function of the PCV system, almost like installing an "inline filter".

Question that is off topic, but on topic. Does this system set off any fault codes on the truck ?

No codes.

Does a 2023 benefit?

Lot of back and forth on benefits of a catch can in general. Modern engines across the board have assloads of extra shit to make them emissions friendly that tend to cause their own problems. TLDR its cheap "insurance" especially on boosted engines so - If you've got the 3.5 and feel like fartin around under the hood, do it. If you've got the 5.0 wait till you've run out of stuff to buy on your wishlist and the whiskey is shopping at 3am.

Lol. I'm new to Ford. Not sure how they would react. Came from Toyota after 19 years.
