Anyone use a JL Stealth Box in their Tremor yet? Have the Unleashed system, but it lacks mid and low bass. Hoping I can add a sub, reduce significantly the bass eq for the factory speakers and get much better overall sound. Also hoping that possibly reduces the front door rattles with a reduction in door speaker bass output. Thoughts?

I was checking those out, butt not sure I want to spend that much. The Stealthbox , amp and NAV-TV would be about $3k. Then install on top of that.

I took one of the p3s 12" subs I had in my tundra and put it under the back seat on a fosgate power 750 amp. Absolutely slams. I had 2 in my tundra for behind the back seat as there was no room under the seat. The p3s I have from fosgate is in their slim enclosure for saving space. One hits so hard I gave my brother the other one I had for his f150. Cost much less than the stealth box.

Excuse the poor wiring esthetic

How do you have this wired for signal?

Loc box I tapped into the factory sub harness for the signal wires. I removed the factory sub of course. Also used the factory sub wires for the remote wire.

There just isn't an easy cost effective solution to add bass to the unleashed, very disappointing.

Think I could pull my Sony underseat sub from 2011 F150 & wire it in to this new system? That Sony (700w I think) has surprisingly good mid & low bass sound (atleast for my needs/preference)

Did you go with a 2 or 4 ohm P3s?

2ohm dvc. Wired to 1ohm for the amp. I'm using the 750x1bd that can handle 1ohm. I got the speaker and box together as fosgate used to sell them specifically for small areas.

I haven't heard the B & O Unleashed system yet. I'm hoping it's better than some are saying.
It’s a fine system, it just needs more bass. The key to the Unleashed is to tune the audio and to use spatial audio with Spotify or Apple Music.

What about the optional Kicker sub? Has anyone tried that? Bass output was also an issue back in 2018 when I had a Raptor. Someone came up with the idea of wrapping the enclosure with Dynamat. I tried that and it made a noticeable improvement.

Curious if anyone has gone this route? I just received my JL XD1000 and full B/O Integration kit / Amp Rack and plug-in play harnesses from Sound Good Audio (will post pictures later once I get into the installation) and was planning to purchase the single 13.5 JL stealthbox.

I bought this one, but haven't gotten around to installing it yet. Been way too hot to work on projects. I also got a J L Audio mono amp and all of the stuff from Sounds Good for the install.

I installed one. But I did the whole system. There is a way to bypass with a zen A/B unit and additional amp. At that point I just replaced everything though

So I just got wrapped up with my install... went with the B&O amp intergration kit from soundsgoodstereo.com, along with their amp rack / factory subwoofer block off plate. Fairly easy install.. and also wired the remote wire to Aux 1 to turn off for the wife.

THIS THING BANGS HARD and sounds really clear / crisp.

I went with the JL XD1000/1, which is a bit overkill... however Crutchfield had it on sale, same price as the 600/1. I figure go more power = less strain on the amp (I actually own 4 for my boat).

Very happy with the install..
