I ordered a 2023 F-150 Tremor 402A on Monday! I went with carbonized gray, 3.5L V6, twin panel moonroof, Torsen differential, interior work surface, and the dealer is going to do the spray in liner. Hopefully I’ll getit in 2023 :/ ...... My 2021 Chevey Silverado LT trailboss with only 16,800 miles has been in the shop for the past week for lifter failures. They don’t even have the parts so who knows how long that will take. I was also over the mileage by 800 miles to get both sides replaced so I’m sure it will be in the shop again soon. No loaner vehicles available either. I’ll never buy a Chevey or GMC again, the mechanic said they’ve had hundreds of them come through with lifter failures in the past couple of months so it’s definitely not a small issue like some people say. In the meantime I test drove the Tremor and loved it. Can’t wait to get it!... but it looks like I’ll be waiting for a while.

Much better looking truck also IMO. GMC AT4 looks pretty good but the Chevy's are bleh. This is coming from someone who used to be die hard Chevy.

I agree, it does look a lot better and the interior is amazing compared to my Trailboss. I’ve always had Chevey trucks but I don’t care for the 2019+ body style. It grew on me after I bought the trailboss but there wasn’t much on the lot when I bought it. I wish I would have taken a closer look at ford back then.

Same story here. I bought a new 2021 Chevy trailboss and lifters went at just over 5,000 miles. After two months in the shop, I traded it on a 2021 401A Tremor I found on the lot. This time around, I test drove a ram rebel and F150 tremor. The rebel was nice but I had a ram 1500 with the hemi previously and just wanted something different. You will not regret it. At first I didn’t think the f150 was that much of an upgrade but after driving it for a week, I couldn’t believe the difference. Literally everything is better, the ride, technology, and comfort. Congrats and hopefully it comes in quick!

It's frustrating to buy a brand new vehicle specifically for the reliability and then have major problems with such low miles. I hope mine doesn't take 2 months but I'm glad it happened now while it's still under warranty. They had a few 22 Tremors on the lot but they wanted 7500 over the sticker price. Luckily the day I test drove the tremor was the same day orders opened for the 23. It's good to hear another former Chevey owner speak highly of the F-150, I was sold after the test drive. I should have tried one sooner. I hope it comes quick too!

After 6 1/2 months of waiting, my 22 Tremor arrived. I can't wait to get it leveled. They did the ceramic tint. With the 402A package. First truck I ever ordered, bought all the rest off the lot!

Looks great! I almost went with iconic silver because I live on dirt roads and thought it might hide the dirt better but I changed it to carbonized grey at the last second. Now I wonder if I should have stuck with the silver...

Got an update today! Now for the next step of the waiting game.

Build date was pushed back from October 17th to the 24th. Probably the first of many.

I’m hearing from several people that ordered the 5.0 that they haven’t received there’s yet. Someone also posted this link https://fordauthority.com/2022/09/ford-v8-engine-production-disrupted-by-supply-chain-issues/
From Ford Chicago Assembly plant, I have been getting info since last year - supply and chip shortages are going to be ongoing at least until 2024 or 2025. Appears that we need to get used to ordering an waiting. Although I ordered my wife an Explorer ST late in May and took delivery in less than 90 days ! Haven't found a close dealer with a tremor in stock to make a deal yet. Likely ordering a 2023 Tremor sooner than later. My 2014 F150 is getting up there in miles. Wanted to hold out until this time next year and grab a 2024

Beautiful truck! I just ordered the exact, same thing. I am in for such a long wait!

I am getting ready to do the same thing. Depending if I go with the 5.0 or 3.5 could also determine how long we wait. 5.0 V8 are longer lead-times. looking to get a 402A w/Torsen either the loved 3.5eco or new V8 ( haven't decided yet ) Although my last 4 vehicles had the 3.5eco and no issues with over 200,000 combined with all of them.
3.5 tuned are such a beast and cost effective to make run better.

Well brother, my 2017 FX4 had the 5.0 and my 2019 FX4 had the Ecoboost. Both were awesome trucks but the Ecoboost had the better performance all the way around. When I ordered the 22 Tremor, I have the Ecoboost. Never been disappointed! Best of luck in your decision!

Was the switch to the EcoBoost an extra cost - now that the 5L is standard? Just curious.

Why would you order a V8 dinosaur. 3.5 is more powerful.
I've owned a 3.5 ecoboost and its the only vehicle I have ever owned in my life (well over 35 new vehicles purchased) that I had to file lemon law against. The drivers side intercooler built up moisture and dumped it into the motor causing it to go into limp mode when accelerating (once while passing on a 2 lane rd) and Ford could never get it corrected, fuel mileage dropped into the low teens once this started happening too. So the ecoboost is a hard no from me. Plus I love the coyote sound

Ford settled in arbitration and other than that one truck I have had great luck with Fords, but a V8 Tremor it is for me.

I didn’t know they were going to have the V8 available as a standard when I first placed my order but I wanted the v6. I called the dealer to make sure I was getting the V6 and he said yes it has the V6 and it would be the same price either way. That might be bacause I ordered before they anonced the V8 as the standard though so I’m not 100% sure if it is the same price.
