Leaf Springs

I took my truck in for the moon roof recall and I told them about a faint knocking in the rear when going over curbs, or bumps at lower speeds. I’ve literally driven this truck about 2,000 miles before noticing this. Truck hasn’t even had the first oil change yet.

The dealer said it needs new leaf springs. I didn’t see anything wrong when I inspected them but who knows. I have a feeling I’ll be back again…

Welcome to my world they've swapped out the springs still the same . Now they're going to change the rubber spacers in between the springs . See what happens .

I didn’t ask what years were impacted. I’d assume it’s a wide spread issue.

Welcome to my world they've swapped out the springs still the same . Now they're going to change the rubber spacers in between the springs . See what happens .

I will follow up once it’s done this Friday. Can you let me know your progress as well? This way I can tell them what to fix next.

Well just got truck back new isolators installed sounds the same .. this all started when they oil guarded the springs . So pretty sure they never cleaned spring mounts before putting new springs .. goes back in in the am

So truck goes back In this am fords answer is to switch out the spring packs for a second time . The tech figures the curve of the top spring and second spring aren't the same causing an issue .. never in 35 plus yrs of owning ford trucks have I had as many issues as this truck lol so wait for parts and change em hopefully fixes the issue . Three is 3 tremors at the dealer all for the same issue at the moment

No, I haven’t hauled anything or put much weight in the bed since I got it. It’s not a daily driver for me so it’s more of a mall crawler.

On another note I got the truck back this week and they replaced both leaf springs and problem solved.

Perfect .. great news...mine is headed in on Oct 23 for a second set lol... tech says curvature of the springs don't match fords answer replace them again

I am up here in Alberta Canada and I have a 2022 F150 tremor same issues had the leaf springs replaced then they had to take the slip yolk and do the grease and once in a while I still hear a clunk, but I’ve just learned to live with it
