Does anyone else have leather issues on their tremor? I only have 1500 miles on mine and the leather looks loose on the bottom and lumbar area of the driver seat. The loosely stitched leather is noticeable on the rest of the seats as well.

That is very strange, I've seen four of these and none had seats that looked that worn.

I saw something similar on the Tremor Facebook page

I've seen same thing on some used tremor photos on Autotrader and it does have me a little worried about quality of the leather if I decide to go for the 402a option. People say the cloth seats of 401 are great but I don't want to miss out on the other stuff in 402 tier.

My leather looks great still, but it’s only got 2500 miles…

Is the Dealer/Ford willing to do anything to help you out on it? I have a a good crease in the front of my drivers seat (I see it looks like you do too) and the driver's side seat portion is looser than the passengers, deciding if I want them to address it. Interested to hear it they will get you a new cover for it?

When you say cover do you just mean new leather upholstery? If I buy one I don't want to just throw a cover on it and ignore issues with QC/stitching etc. My current 2013 FX4 leather is fairly thick and in great shape, so this has me a little worried..

A leather seat is a leather cover with the seat padding under it. I'm saying that it could be that certain leather covers are not as tight fitting as others causing this issue. I'm interested if Ford/Dealer would replace the leather tremor seat cover for a new one with the issue the OP has with the loose leather here.

Yeah makes sense, i've seen in videos how the Katzkin are done for people that order the cloth seat trims - was just wondering if you meant a replacement leather cover or something else to put OVER the factory covers. Just checking hahah

All good, yeah I would not put anything over the factory leather. I would make them replace the leather cover, if it’s a concern of how loose it is or something else.

I have a camo cover i put over the back seat for the kids in my current truck which i will probably do again for this one, but knowing the leather underneath it is saggy would still bother me even if i didn't see it sooooo yeah also would like to know the answer to your question.

*Ahhh also i have a toddler so i still have a large full sized convertible car seat in the truck so i'm worried about what the constant pressure is going to do to the seat if it has issues with loose stitching/sagging. (Forgot about that part lmao)

I’ve contacted the dealer but haven’t heard back yet… I will update you when I get a response. My concern is that the leather will age terribly as the truck gets older. For a $70k truck it’s pretty disappointing.

Thank you that would be awesome!

For what it’s worth, there was a major concern in the 2015-2017 f150 platinums a few years back. I remember seeing servers people going to the dealer and some actually getting it replaced (with mixed reviews of the outcome).
My 2015 had some loose wrinkles that looked very similar to the pics I’m seeing on these tremors. Mine never got worse from the day I bought the truck through the day I sold it.

FYI i'm signing off on a 2022 Iconic Silver tomorrow in 402a and i brought up this seat leather issue. He assured me that if the seats have an issue and while it's under warranty if it's Ford's fault then Ford will be on the hook for it and they will push the issue for me if they need to. Dunno if that's TRUE and if it would turn out that way, but that's what i was told either way. :)

I noticed my back seats were like that the other day, but was to busy to put any thought into it. I will check tomorrow and post some photos. I have cars seats back there so never really seen the leather but twice. This is concerning if they are suppose to be that way. I didn’t know any different. Never had a f150 and this is my first Ford. I’m Coming from Land Rovers where the seats look great but the electronics don’t work.

So just to circle back around, I have just a tiny bit of the wavy looking stitching on the top of the back rests on the rear seats but other than that I'm fine so far. The seats leather almost looked a bit thin to me in some of these pictures but I was happy to see that it was more or less the same as my 2013 fx4.

So I noticed this morning that the vinyl part of my leather seat is already starting to split. I’m only about 5k miles into this thing.

Anyone else notice this happening to your seats?
