Man, so jealous of where you live. That truck and location is a perfect match!

Looks great!!

Thanks All!!

Got my side LED flood lights today…3-inch Pro-comp floods.
Will light it up nicely around perimeter under an eventual 270-awning.

Question:
I have a Garmin Power Switch I was considering to deploy for power to the rack, not certain where the unfitted switches terminate and I can locate the garmin power switch close to where my aux batteries will be (I got 2-100 amp/hr Lion Energy Lithium’s going in to power heater for RTT and for Overland fridge/freezer (which I’m still evaluating if anyone has a suggestion) right now I have Engel in the lead….

Thanks!

Check this out for switch wire locations

Looks pretty straight forward to connect to them

Took me about 2.5 hours total install

I got a bunch more items suck as antenna mounts, awning brackets, load stops, tie s
Downs ect….it wasn’t a pretty simple install.

Make certain to have a socket set and a complete set of Allen wrenches that are on the 3/8 or 1/4 sockets to speed it all up.

Don’t use a drill or impact

You will regret it

Man that forged does look much better than my original. I'll use my old one until I decide which way I want to go with the bed (RSI, alu-cab w/tent or stick with the rack) on a normal trip, I carry 40+ gallons of water, 32 gallons of fuel, 20# LPG, cook stuff in my right decked (front) seasoning/dry goods in my left decked front with extra tow/jerk straps/axe/shovel/etc in the deeper drawers.

So far my Iceco 12/24/120 has done well over ~ 60 days of trips. Those trips included 90+ degree days, Wyoming dust, altitude (low and high). Generally it draws just over 4A for both compartments in eco mode. I power it, my camping lights and tent (USB, lights, fan) off a self built 2.4 kwh solar generator (batteries, SCC, BMS, etc). currently, I'm using (2) 100W renogy flexable panels to keep it charged indefinitely. While I do love my easy slide, the cost is excessive. also it's prone to losing bolts from vibration. I'm in process of seeing what threadlock is needed as a balance.

for your switch, that I can tell so far, I only see the engine compartment leads and the passenger floor leads. I'm thinking about planning out one run of 4-6 leads to the back and terminating them at the passenger floor. My idea is to allow for external bed available switches and a single on-off switch for everything in the back. i.e. use a switch to shut off a bank of SSRs. my compressor is currently mounted under my gearpod with (2) 50A runs up to the battery. I think I'll run the same on the tremor but tie the compressor lines in with the battery isolator I decide on.

@Alaskadave have you thought about making a running build thread? I did one on my last truck and it helped a lot of people with their decisions.

Does the Leitner require drilling? I’m really trying to avoid drilling. I had a Leitner on my Tacoma and liked it. Currently debating that or a full cap to keep the weather out.

It does. my classic took 4 holes in the tail gate pillars and 2 in the front of the bed.

Yeah, I was pretty sure it did. The Tacoma did not, which I thought was awesome.
yeah, nothing like taking a drill to a $60k+ new truck... I'm really hoping companies start utilizing the boxlink for structural support.

That said, Leitner sent out the email yesterday saying their increasing their prices as of Jan 1.
