Wondering if anyone can comment on how the 5.0L Tremor drives and performs after a level and 35’s? Especially given the extra rotational mass of the tires. I’m looking at 35x12.5x17, or 315/70/17 tires which are approx. 30LBs heavier per corner over the stock grabbers.

Is it horrible? Does it struggle? How does it ride? Is it not that big of a deal? Any comments or experience is appreciated. Thanks!

It doesn’t struggle but you will feel a little hit in power and fuel economy. Call it 5% loss. Add intake and exhaust then your back at a wash

Leveled and 285/75 Toyos which are 5lbs more per tire: 3% hit to MPG.
Rides much better absorbing bumps - worth it.

Finally got my RC 2.5” kit on and dial in. I changed back to the factory rear blocks and love the way it sits now. Got the mud flaps on. There is lots more to come.

Just upgraded to 295/60/20 with level on my 2025 5.0. Little power loss.. biggest difference is braking. Needs a little more pressure to stop now. Love the look and no regrets!

What rims size 20x9 and offset?? No rubbing or trimming needed? I want to run this size on mine.

Yeah, 20x9 with +1. No rubbing on my 402 so far. No trimming required.. a reg F150 would have to do minor trimming for sure. Tremor bumper clears tho. Per amount of poke IMO

Forgot to note I’m on a 3” Ready Lift level. Not too sure if a 2 to 2.5” will make a difference. Can’t see it causing too much trouble.

Oh ok ya I have been talking with readylift as I would like to do a 3” but they have nothing out yet for a 2025 tremor. They have 2024 and they say it probably would work but can’t confirm yet.

I’m driving a 2025 Tremor.. Dealer has been putting these on some of their 2025 f150’s on the lot, including another 2025 Tremor I saw. That’s what inspired me to get them to install it on mine. No issues so far.. truck only has about 1,500 KM tho..

Ok and what do you have in the rear again just stock rear blocks??

Hmm ok I will have to look in to this as I would like to get a little more height. I gained 2” in the front with my RC 2.5 kit. I found this one too I will have to check with RC if it would work says 3” and I already have the M1 struts in.

Maybe they have a kit option without the struts to save you a few

It doesn’t look like it’s been said here so just FYI if you didn’t already know, but since the Tremor is lifted 1” from a standard FX4 stock you need to deduct that inch from the lift numbers on any non-tremor specific kits. So that 3” kit would likely only net you 2” of actual gain, which is what it sounds like you’re seeing with the struts already. If you’re looking for more height, to get to 3”+ of actual increase over stock, you’ll need a 4”+ kit unless the lift numbers given are specifically for the tremor. Based on other posts over the years it also sounds like a lot of customer service reps for these manufacturers don’t realize this so you may not be able to trust what they say either.

35 x 12.5 on 17s Load Range E and you will take about a 3 mpg hit on the highway (less in the city). Lots of rotating mass, plus you are lifting the front which hurts it a little. It is obviously not going to feel as nimble and will lose a small bit of performance, but you gain on ground clearance and off roading. The 5.0 has plenty of power for them, and a re-gear is not worth it.

This is correct.
