Hey guys,

This is my first post here and man, there is truly a wealth of information here! I was a lucky one who ordered a Job 2 Tremor in April and my Blend date is actually today! I'm beyond stocked and cant wait to pick it up hopefully next month or so. With that being said, I know there is a whole 50+ page post on leveling kits but I'm looking for some simple advice from all the experience and expertise on the forum: between the RC and AS spacers, which one do you all think is better build quality and keeps the most travel? I've typically avoided RC products but I've seen a few people on here have good things to say; I also know the AS has the offset design but not sure if it's just a gimmick or actually helps with travel. I would prefer coil overs but it just sounds like a spacer is way easier for what I'm trying to do and more economical. I'm looking to keep a little rake so I only want to go with a 1.5 or 2" puck. Thanks and advanced and I'm pumped to be a part of the community!

You’ll have to dig through the data. (That’s what I did) for me the AS 2.5 (it’s still has a small rake by the way) worked for my needs. Good Luck and congrats on the new rig!

I bought my truck with the procomp 2.5" already installed by the previous owner BUT, when I was doing research for my ordered truck I had landed on the Autospring 2.5 as the go to.

With that said, I am looking to do coilovers in the near future. Possibly the rough country or if someone else ever comes out with a set I'll look at those.

Tbh I caved and got the rough country after having the as2.5 because I gave up and figured no one is going to do them any time soon.

I'm pleasantly surprised, and they ride better than stock imo.

Did you do the install or have a shop do it? If you did it, how long did it take and did you have help? If a shop, may I ask what they charged to install them?

Welcome and congrats on your rig.
we have a really helpful bunch, here. Im sure youll get some really good feedback.

I had a local shop install the RC level kit. They charged me $375 parts, $140 labor. This wasn’t everything they did but that was the line item charge. They also installed a rear tailgate light bar, three custom pod lights in front bumper, 35’s, and a tonneau cover.

You had the AS2.5, but swapped for the RC's?

How would you compare ride quality? I expect the RC is a little stiffer? I'm planning to get coil overs but was also waiting for a dedicated tremor kit from King or Fox 2.5s. In the mean, time I had planned to do the AS2.5, but would you not recommend?

The as2.5 was good, i didn't like it on the off-road though. I can tell you fox is pretty firm from what I see on not releasing a tremor kit, that's why I got the RC. They aren't noticably stiffer, i think they're well balanced. Haven't off-road yet, but I'm sure it's better than having the spacer. I like them overall so far.

Did the spacer change the ride?

How much is small? I'd like at least an inch of rake. Wondering if I should order the 2" like @Escape Hatch

Appreciate all the replies guys! Just got word today from the dealership that I should be able to pick my Tremor the first or second week in August. The build is complete at Dearborn and it has a ship date (thankfully its a Convoy not rail). It stinks reading all the posts from people who have been waiting for almost a year in some cases, not sure how I got lucky,

I think I'm going to go with the AS 2". Not sold on RC kit and I don't think it will make that much of a performance difference for the money. I would fork out the cash if FOX or ICON had a dedicated kit but sounds like it won't happen.

Icons kits do work for the front but you only get around 1.25-1.5 of lift if I remember correctly. @Yeti chime in please on that.

It just isn't meant to be taken off road. The ride was fine on road, but when you're articulating over large rocks or dips it's just not made for that. I took some hard trails and had some squeaks coming from it immediately after.

I'm at 1 1/4. I wouldn't go any higher but you could probably get better than 1.5 if you don't care about kidneys

@MOHunter has this setup and I'm planning on the same based on his experience (about 2.7" of lift):

What ICON setup are you running and are you running OEM wheels/bigger tires? Sorry if you’ve already posted your rig in another forum!
