I recently found myself in Baja and saw three different Tremors. While I didn't get a chance to speak with any of the owners, I figured this thread may be a good resource for the southern crew.
@Lobo-Tremor I seem to remember you were in MX so I'll start this with you.

Here!
I am located in Veracruz. I have seen a few other Tremors here.
One guy I spoke with put his to work on his ranch the same day he bought it. He uses it for everything.
Looks like most of them are work trucks. Mine stays (so far) mostly on the pavement with a trip here and there to the beach.

Yeah, a couple I saw were definitely all-use.. I was down in Los Barriles and saw one of the Tremor owners kite surfing but had to leave before he was finished.

Just got done prepping my truck to go visit the in-laws in Oaxaca.

They live in a little town about six or seven hours from where we are. It's a pretty cool place. No internet or cell signals.
In fact, one of the streets (if you could call them that) is actually named after my Wifes Grandfather. :)

Gas is $22.19 Pesos per liter. ($4.94 USD per gallon) But, WTF, it's 93 octane and is cheaper than we usually pay. :)
Also filled up the obligatory 5 gallon can in case there is no gas and we run low on the trip.

Today, I cleaned and Rain-Ex'd all the glass and loaded up my ax and machete along with all the other necessary tools for a Mexican road trip.

Just gotta look out for bandidos on the way there.:cautious:

Also wanted to mention that I saw another Tremor on the street yesterday. There were two young cuties in it (more than likely it was daddys truck)
Anyway, they saw my truck and did a double take. Stopped right in the middle of a turn.
Reminded me of the Eagles song Take it Easy. I am old and wise enough to know that they were staring at the truck and not the driver.😁

I dunno, they could have been thinking, "he's old but drives a hot truck". Or, they kicked the owner out when he stopped to assist them and they liked your color better...

That sounds like it going to be a fun trip so long as there are no bandits on the road.

Back Last night safe and sound. No banditos.;)

We did almost 1200 kms in three days. Lots of F'ing potholes I'm sure the truck needs an alignment after it all.
Got almost 18 MPG over the whole trip. Thats with the truck loaded down pretty good with luggage, coolers and 4 adults.
Anywhere from 40 to 120 KMH on the highway.
Had to dodge lots of migrants walking on the side of the road. 😬
Literally thousands of them walking to the North border.

And after all that driving, checked the battery voltage this morning. 67% WTF? :cautious:

A few more pics.

Flew the drone around a little bit.
Most colorful place I saw was the grave yard. 😬
