Just curious what all are getting for MPG?

I came from a 2017 Raptor where I was getting 15.2 on average

But now after resetting at 500 miles, I am only getting 14.8 on my Tremor. My driving routes and habits are the same.

Surprised since the smaller tires and lower HP engine. Not really complaining but trying to figure out why.

I am just using regular 87 octane now where I was using 93 in the Raptor. But could that really be the difference??

At approximately 2,600 miles and have not reset trip settings since i got it. 18.7 is what its registering, use 87 Octane…

I am getting about 14.5 MPG. I use 92 octane. I try to drive really soft on the pedal but in Honolulu it is all City driving for me. I live on a ridge and it is about 2 miles up so that doesn't help. All the vehicles I have owned I have always been near the City rating for the MPG so no surprise for me on the Tremor. Hopefully I can get closer to the 16 MPG I believe is the City rating.

Combo city/highway, getting around 17.5 on 87 octane - I enjoy jackrabbit starts, though lol. The highway is not really highway, just low braking roads for stretches. I had for 2 months, 1K miles..

I'm averaging about 17.5 mpg mixed around town and highway going 70mph.
I did take a 500 mile trip home when i picked the truck up and going 80mph it was averaging 16.9mpg.

Just turned 1k and I’m at 18.7 MPG on 87 octane. Some Hwy some city….doing the whole break-in thing. Love this truck so far.

Wow. That’s a big difference vs what I get. Should I have dealer look at? Run diagnostics? I’ve already checked the basic stuff, tire pressure etc.

I am at about 2,700 miles, and average over all of it is at 18.2. Current tank is at 19.4, combination of highway and in-town. 87 octane.

I was showing around 14.5 MPG on 87 octane in town using eco mode the majority of the time. I recently decided to just leave it in normal, and reset the fuel economy gauge — I am still showing around 14.5 gallons MPG. I am not entirely sure what eco mode does other than play with the sensitivity of the throttle.

Something I read recently, maybe worth checking in your next dealer visit??
A malfunctioning IAT sensor may cause your vehicle to take longer to start on cold mornings. The faulty IAT sensor tells the car's computer that the air in the intake is a different temperature than it actually is and may cause the vehicle to not deliver the proper fuel mixture to the engine.

Increase Fuel Consumption

The temperature of your vehicle's intake affects the amount of fuel needed to properly operate the car. If the IAT is not working properly, the car's computer may think the car needs a stronger fuel mixture and cause the car to consume more fuel than it normally does.

Interesting, I assume there are no codes thrown for this malfunction? Just lower mpg than expected because the engine is running a higher fuel/air ratio.

Could be, others have reported getting better mileage on premium. And your Less than an MPG difference, so I would think it would match it or surpass it on premium.
