Yes,
The title was not a misprint. I asked and asked for some honest answers from my dealership since January after I found an unauthorized charge on my paperwork (which they did refund/over 1,000 dollars) and just two days ago I text my salesman and finance manager that I was headed down to dealership to discuss face to face with them. I was told they no longer want to do business with me and I am trespassed and if I ever show up again they will have me arrested…
Well I’m well ahead of them as far as never going back to them as I chose another dealership for a repair (rear pinion seal) at around 1,700 miles and also a dealership without the “quick lane” centers which in my opinion are a ripoff. I let ford motor corporation know of this, and I surely hope they get something done about this.
You almost need an attorney these days to review paperwork with you I swear!
Watch your paperwork at dealerships folks!
-Peace

Very weird.
Don’t take this the wrong way but, it definitely sounds like there’s more to this fiasco than what you’ve mentioning.

Very wrong Camdenn,
You don’t even know me. I caught them in a lie back in January, and nobody would fess up or even apologize for anything. My own salesman texted me how he was not happy with what I had been through. I already let ford know about that fiasco. Not the first time in my life I’ve been lied to by salespeople.. I learn something every time it seems after making a purchase.

Am I reading that correctly? Did they refund you the whole amount for the unauthorized charges already?

What were the unauthorized charges for as well? You have 1,700 miles so anything they touch should be covered by warranty I would imagine.

Metallikatz3 I caught an unauthorized charged the day I drove the truck home after looking at paperwork and called them on that right away, I heard 3 different excuses as to what the charge was for. (Was labeled installation of accessories) They sent a driver to pick it up, they half a$$ washed it and after I test drove it I bought it. I called and asked them what was the installation of accessories charge for? Over 1000 dollars! I heard a bunch of excuses from them, and one of the excuses was the dealership where it came from applied paint protection to it. Not once was paint protection ever discussed with me, and they surely confuse you as much as possible and do not go over every charge with you line by line like they should. The finance manager had me peek at his computer screen briefly of some numbers, then they send you on your way to the salesman who tries to sell you a 7 thousand dollar warranty which I denied.
I admit I was a bit under pressure during this deal and my mind was spinning 100 mph, but I could have asked for a better breakdown of the numbers while at the dealer. Had the paperwork been broken down more efficiently for me I would have spotted that charge. They did end up refunding me that money “as a courtesy” they tell me, and they mention to me how my salesman told them how I’ve been burned before by other dealers. So they basically made me believe that they felt bad for me and hence the refund.
So since January I’ve been trying to get an answer from them if this truck really has paint protection why wasn’t I notified of this? So if I get a stone chip perhaps who is going to fix it? And my salesman also told me by text how he is NOT happy with the finance team and what they put me through and I again want answers from them on this? And also answers on the numbers and supposed discounts I received? I think after them probably getting heat from ford by online review, and my attempts to get answers from them they finally blew up and had enough of me when I said I was headed to dealer to speak in person about some answers. I wanted the name of the dealer they traded from to inquire on the paint protection and they told me it wasn’t my business.
I was never officially trespassed by the police, just the finance manager who blew up on the phone and told me they don’t want my business anymore, and if I ever show up again he would have me arrested.
My reason for this post was just to warn others again to watch out for themselves at dealerships.

The 1,700 mile repair I went to a different dealer for that and it was 100 percent covered. Leaking rear pinion seal.

What was the unauthorized charge for? Was it on a cc or the final paperwork/loan? How long after signing the initial paperwork did you catch it? How did they refund you? If you got the refund, what was the purpose of going to see them in person? What was your process in getting that refund (how often did you reach out, and was it all via text or were any conversations in person)?

There are many details missing that would be nice to know if you are going to post about this.

Edit: looks like while I was typing you gave some of these answers. As for what "paint protection" you got, nothing will warranty stone chips. You either got PPF, which you could physically see as a clear layer on the front areas, or more likely, they did some ceramic coating, which is NOT paint protection, but rather a sealant/wax.

Did you read my last reply? I caught the charges the day I bought truck after driving home. Check was refunded by mail. I have texts of everything. Including texts from my salesperson how he was not happy with what I went through. It was on the final paperwork. I messaged dealer through their online portal and by text. They ignored me since January. Again I wanted to know if truck had paint protection who I was to lean on for if I had issues. And I wanted to know why my own salesman was upset on my behalf. I spent a fortune for this truck and I wanted answers!
I can post however I feel “b-real”
I owe you nothing.

Read my edit, but given your defensiveness on here, for something YOU posted, you are not helping your case.

Go moderate someone else’s post..
I need no help from anyone on here.
Just passing the word for folks to watch themselves at “stealerships”

I don’t think they would fire you as a customer over what you have described. There has got to be more to the story, including the three sides…your version, their version, and the truth.
I busted them with their lies. I have the texts to prove my points. I need not explain anything else to anyone on here.

Either you have paint protection or you don't. If it was some "ceramic" coating that the dealer applied it's garbage so proceed with life as if you don't have that coating.

If you have PPF then you can see it on your truck, but $1,000 would only be enough to cover a partial hood PPF at dealer prices.

At the end of the day you got your money back and you're moving on. No skin off your back aside from the frustration of a shady dealer tactic. So thank you for sharing the cautionary tale to us of "buyer beware" as always with these high pressure finance monkeys at dealerships.

I bought my wife a new Pathfinder a few months ago and spent nearly 3 hours having a parade of 8 different "finance managers" and "customer satisfaction managers" trying to sell all sorts of add ons. This was after a clear bait and switch on their advertised price that I spent another three visits negotiating back to what was actually advertised.

“High pressure finance monkeys!” 🙈
They all go to the same university!
And also the 7 thousand dollar extended warranty they prorate from day one I was told. I asked hypothetically if I total lossed this truck within a year from an accident would I get all of that money back? They said no and it’s prorated. The ford warranty and not a 3rd party scam.

So anyone else on here who buys a vechicle brand new, who gets told from your own salesperson that they are not happy how things went down for you, you would all just “be okay” with that and not want anymore information on that? Just would let it be? You spend 70 plus thousand dollars and your own salesperson upset with their own team for the games? My first time buying Ford and dealing with this circus with sales “professionals”?
If you hired a divorce attorney and paid through the nose to them, and in the end they tell you they aren’t happy with how things went down would you question them any further??

No, but it sounds like you are intolerant of crap not being perfect and come in hot right off the bat. This comment looks to be an example of it…

There is much more to the story than is being told.
