Navigation delete on new Tremor. Anybody else get this message. Can you transfer cell phone navigation to touch screen in truck?

They issue a -200 delete. Can you add factory navigation later when it becomes available.

That sucks. But yes, wireless CarPlay will put nav on the screen. I rarely use the native Ford nav, though it is MUCH more robust and accurate compared to previous Ford vehicles I’ve owned. I will say the Native Ford Nav UI is gorgeous though. So good looking that I want to use it. Especially on night mode.

Just did some research. Glad they deleted navigation. Found out apple car play transfers navigation from phone to touch screen.

You can use Android Auto/Apple Carplay to project your phone navi onto your screen.

The notice from Ford specifically said the Connected Navigation could not be added on later.

EDIT: I'm slow

Man that's such a different experience than I have had. Mine won't even recognize my home address....no matter how good it may look the fact it sucks ruins it for me.

Maybe something is wrong with mine, but I don't even have a desire to mess with it given the lackluster at best, accuracy I've seen when the projection of Google maps is perfect.

I want my navigation damnit! How did you get notification off the deleted feature? Window sticker?

I don't mind the Ford Nav. It is the only one that will go full screen. You can also show weather radar on it. I switch between it, apple maps and google maps. Added bonus is it's not draining your phone battery when you use it like carplay does.

I have the same issue with mine. It tries to send me 2 miles up my road from my address lol. A friend of mine had a hyundai that had built in nav that did the same thing. Google maps is WAY more accurate.

I'm pretty sure this is old news and only applies to lower trims. In the case of Tremor, 400A.

Factory Nav FTW

For those having issues with it not finding your home, are you using the predictive destination that pops up in the upper left corner or are you actually entering the address?

Our Bronco nav predicts a destination that is a few miles away but I know better than to click on it. I just turned off predictive destinations today on the truck.

mine is and has always been accurate except one time in Florida.

Predictive Nav was definitely off, I’ve got a long driveway and it kept trying to bring me to the street behind my house😂

I order the 401a mid and when I tracked it the window sticker said Navigation delete - 200. Glad it did now. I saved hundreds and get the same thing using Iphone apple car play.

Have to say I kinda like the nav, but then I have an iphone and maps have never been that good on them. I've also lived in a place that navs have found difficult to nav to (including google), so certainly when I'm in the boondocks I keep in mind things might be not quite right - but navs in general have come a long way, and over the air updates is one of the biggest improvements.

I had a lexus before the tremor, 2007. One of things I _really_ liked about it was how calm it was. Most navs at the time would do two things: 1) leave it to the last minute to give directions and garble it all out at the last second, and 2) freak out and order u-turns every time you didn't obey it. I'm glad to see our nav doesn't do anything of those things, and I find it quite pleasant to use.
