New Audio System Update

I found my truck had an audio update sent from ford. I was never really happy with the B&O system so I told it to update right when it came through.

All I can say is WOW it makes the system sound like it should. Also the processor seems to utilize the speakers in the headrests much more effectively.

Only downside was it seemed to reset myview (again).

Prior to the update most of my sound was coming out the center speaker with a little coming out of the sides. The sound is much more balanced across the speakers now. So glad they fixed this. Maybe they listened to the customer survey or something.

Same here unleashed. Sounds a lot better ! Even sounds good now on the highway with all the windows down

I have my updates off because of the tune but this is tempting to redo my tune for... I hate how shit the unleashed is as it comes. Biggest waste of $800 on order.

It won’t be a waste after the update. I dont want to get out the truck now. It also really seemed to increase the head/height speaker presence in surround mode.

Agreed. Even Xm sounds good now. Apple Music is outstanding.

Wish I could have gotten the unleashed. Minus the panoramic roof.

Somehow that was how mine was sped’d on the lot. Had a platinum with the moonroof before and never really opened it so didnt want the possibility of leaks for no real benefits.

I'll have to check my updates... I was riding in the passenger seat yesterday and said, "for some reason it sounds so much better", and this would explain it. I thought it was just because I was a passenger for a change

Definitely noticeable and enhanced. The bass is stronger, but the surround is the most enhanced to me. There is a good bit more separation and more prominent center channel and overhead that wasn't as present before. Played a couple I'm quite familiar with on Apple Music - Beck/Wow and Spunkshine/Unobtanium and both hit very nicely.
