'22 Tremor Agate Black
Hey all -
traded a 2020 Raptor with some light mods for 22 Agate Black 402a yesterday.
Loved the Raptor; 0 complaints mechanically...great truck for 2.5 years.

2.5-years; 0 times off-road; I just didn't use it to its potential. Plus $4.49 Premium Fuel was a bummer.

So far no regrets with the Tremor besides the rake. It may grow om me but any suggestions on how to level it out would be appreciated.

Welcome!

Currently these are the three options that I’m currently aware of:

Pro Comp 2.5 Inch Leveling Lift Kit -

item # 62206 sells for $229, this is the most installed leveling kit that I’m aware of with no issues as of yet although Pro Comp has not officially acknowledged it works for the tremor.

2.5 INCH LIFT KIT | FORD F-150 TREMOR 4WD (2021-2022) This kit comes as 2 loaded struts which I was told today by their representative is 2.5 inches longer than the stock strut. The rep didn’t say it would offer any improvement over stock and said ride quality might suffer a little. I asked him if their strut was better quality than the stock tremor strut and he said most likely not , just longer. The kit also comes with a shorter lift block to reduce the rear height and bring to a truer level but may result in more of a squatted look while towing heavier loads.

This kit is a

2021-2022 F150 Auto Spring 2.5" Offset Spacer Leveling Kit AS2521.

This one claims to have the most science behind it as you can read in the description due to the offset it will provide more relief for UCA’s. I spoke to one of their representatives today and he was very helpful, I ended up ordering this one and canceling my Pro Comp 2.5 . This kit looks like it probably has the worst structural integrity but they say it’s solid and is probably the best value at $115.

That’s all I have to say about that ( Gump voice ).

Welcome and I would say he has covered all options for a lift that have been tried and proven to be somewhat effective.

Thanks for the comprehensive review.

I read somewhere about maybe removing the rear block and using two wheel drive shackles?

Any thoughts or information on that?

Welcome neighbor.
If you don't tow, don't want the height and don't go off road, removing the blocks may be an option for you.

If I wanted to keep tow capacity, keep off road capacity, and not raise the overall height, but reduce the rake in the back (not completely, but maybe just leave 1.5 inches versus 4), is there a leveling kit or option that does that?

Welcome to the forum @WeinerMobile 🍻 Congrats on the new Tremor!

I also came from a gen 2 raptor.
Added the pro comp 2.5” level and it does the job. I’d prefer a proper coil over setup but for now, the pro comp gets the job done.

The front lift shouldn't really increase overall height and the concern with lowering blocks are what happens with the spring rate. Effectively, the springs are designed to progressively support more and more weight at a given height. If we reduce that overall length, I would imagine we would be riding on the bumpstops while trailering at some point.

I suppose there may be a way to reduce the height but then add something like a timbren type setup to mitigate the loaded squat.

I have the lowering blocks from my Rough Country coil kit you can have. I have no use for them. They are supposed to drop the rear 1.5in I believe. Think they sell em for $60. Pay shipping and they are yours

So basically I would replace the stock blocks with these blocks and that would drop 1.5" in the back, but retain all the stock capability?

Dont think anyone has installed them with their coil installs but in theory it shouldnt do anything other than lower the rear end with blocks shorter than stock approx 1.5in. They figure instead of the small rake you are left with from the coil kit, it will make truck dead level

Interesting. Can you DM me how to pay you for the shipping?

@Cranbery if you read through the leveling thread one of the guys installed the full coilover kit from RC including the rear blocks it made it less than an inch off from level front to rear. BWD85 on page 17 of the leveling thread.
