New member - ordered early September 2021 - no word on delivery

New and very perplexed member here, I have zero insight on when my truck is going to get here and my dealer doesn't seem to know either. They sound bothered whenever I ask. Any insights are greatly appreciated.

Welcome! 99% you're on chip hold. Your frame met your body on Jan 20th. It's been sitting around waiting on chips since. Lots of folks in this boat unfortunately. At least your truck is mostly built! I ordered early January not even a scheduled build date yet.

thank you very much! I will ask for the order number. Anyone have luck applying discounts and price concessions to an in stock model? Modifications mid stream? e.g. remove auto start stop? The sell sheet already had co pilot 360 removed, but I guess they ignored that request... The dealer hasn't been forthcoming with info so far, but tracking myself would be great, at least an ETA in months or quarters... The problem for me is timing... June 13 and we move from the suburbs to 73 acres. I have been buying equipment for the new place and without the truck its Uhaul and favor's to bring the toys home. Not what I imagined for our dream property.

Polaris week starts on Saturday, kids are getting a 110 Sportsman and the following Saturday its a 570 Sportsman Premium for general work. Then it's tractor and trailer time.

Ford likely removed auto start stop without even telling you. Your dealer will really determine if they'll honor price locks, and discounts. Not all dealers take ABC plans for example. Ford protects price, but the dealer needs to actually apply for a rebate at the time of purchase and some dealers are super fucking lazy and will just tell you it can't be done.

Did you try to track your truck using that link? Your order number should be at the top of your sell/invoice sheet.

it's blank... I emailed the dealer requesting the order number and they gave me two new numbers. A certificate number and registration number. Neither worked with the link

OH I just saw you're from Canada. You can't track anything, Canadian orders are totally obfuscated. Sorry, I didn't realize.

2.5 mo. into my order and I just have absolutely no idea how many (multiple) months I'll have to wait. All one can do is put it out of your mind and realize one has no control and it will happen eventually. We live in weird times and everything is this way. Certainly first world problems.

Agree but damn is that hard to do. No amount of complaining will help but it sure feels good.
