I plan on doing a full kit, this might be a quality option. I’m thinking it’s specifically made for F-150 so since we are 1” taller I believe it would mean a 5” lift for us. I’d be onboard with this as long as Blue cruise, 360 cameras and any other tech feature isn’t compromised.

Hopefully it actually works. I would love to lift mine, but I also tow a ton and it can be annoying to have a lift and tow, depending on the load obviously.

There are no installation notes on if you need different wheels and it says “Direct Fit”. Does that mean no cutting and factory wheels will fit? I would consider this lift if there was no cutting. But if you have to cut the frame, the price is to close to the the BDS. Might as well buy once, cry once and go with the best.

Forgive my ignorance, is BDS the proven quality F-150 lift and has it already been done and documented with top quality results on our Tremor?

Do you have a link with pricing?

Any diff drop lift that replaces the factory strut will work with the Tremor. They will give you the same lift hight as a regular F-150. That's why the Pro Comp works. Pro Comp, Fabtech, RC, BDS, kits will work that have their own coilover. I have posted pics of of several of these kits on the leveling kit thread. TC Customs has done the 6" BDS coilover kit with 37's on a members truck with video. A local dealership to me has installed it on several Tremors in the 4" and 6" flavors. Yes BDS is one of if not the best diff drop lifts out there. They use Fox shocks on their coilovers and offer the DSC upgrade. Sport Truck USA that owns BDS, Zone, JKS and a few more where purchased by Fox Factory. Yes the same Fox shock/Race company. You get genuine Fox shocks, not rebranded or in-house made shocks from the lowest bidder. BDS does not claim their kits work on the Tremor, but there are tons running around on them. I have yet to see a diff drop kit let you use stock wheels. most need 20's. Even the 4" RC Tremor kit that just came out needs a 20x9 +6. I like that it says its a 100% bolt on. But the Pro Comp site says nothing about it or wheel requirements. It will be interesting to see what you find out. I have yet to see anything say it works with Bluecruise. On the Gen14 forums there it has been hit and miss. Some say 4" max lift and it will still work. One guy with a 6" lift can't get it to work even with recalibration. It might depend on how good your dealer knows the software and programing features. I don't want to lose Bluecruise or any driving features.

So, are you saying there is not a lift kit out (at least yet) that let's you retain 18" wheels? The thought of going up turns me off to the idea.

I can’t lose Blue Cruise. That’s $1,800 out the window. I don’t understand why my wheels abs current 35’s wouldn’t work. It’s too early for me to do anything. I can’t be a Guinea pig with all my tech. If I didn’t have no sweat. I’ll wait it out a bit.

I’m with you. If I needed to do a wider 18 I could do that but I can’t imagine no one’s never done 18” wheels with a 6” lift. I’m already in for $1750 for my 35/12.50/18’s and can’t loose that investment.

Yeah I get it, I wouldnt either. After all its nothing but a waiting game (hopefully) and the larger rim is generally just bad for the trucks intended use. More sidewall=better.

Not that I know of for stock 18's. BDS claims a you can run a 18" with a 5-5.5 back spacing or +13 to 0 on a 9" wheel or 0 to -13 on a 10" wide wheel. They say you must test fit before install. Some wheels have more room than others. But the Pro Comp site doesn't say anything about cutting or wheel fitment. I watched a install video on the Pro Comp 6" on a 2015 F-150 and they did cut the frame.

Did they say what? a 5" and 7"
No, he did say they were going to have a few different sizing options. It was a good conversation and he definitely knew it was a top priority for them to bring these kits to market. I also mentioned to him about how important it is that our tech still works specifically Blue Cruise. He agreed that they would make it a priority to not interfere with Blue Cruise operation. So stay tuned for meow.
