New to the forum. 23 tremor ordered!

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, I just ordered a 23 402a yesterday in iconic silver, 3.5 ecoboost, front diff option, 18 speaker option, spray in bed liner... dealer said 4-6months.

I've been without a truck for 2 years and you don't realize how badly you need a truck till you don't have one !

Welcome to the forum! You'll love the Tremor - I had a '21 and currently have a '23 on order. Delivery time will be a crap shoot... My dealer quoted me 6-8 months when I ordered on 10/26, and my truck is scheduled to be build the week of 11/28. Then again, who knows when it will actually show up.

Oh, and if you're in a hurry, you may consider removing the spray liner and having that done on your own. I'm not 100% sure that's still a bottleneck, but earlier this year it seemed to be adding 2-3 months to delivery times. Ford literally didn't have the labor force to get them done, so trucks sat for weeks/months waiting for the bed liner.

Thanks for the heads up v8 goat, I'm not in a hurry.... when I get the truck I also plan on sending it out to get the front end PPF'd...

Awesome! Congrats on the order! Yea I chose not to do the spray in liner because I read it slows down the build and delivery.

I ordered my Tremor in early September of this year and it was build by October 31st and supposed to be delivered next week or so (Mid November).

Hope yours gets done sooner than later.

Welcome! Ordered a 402a on 11/7 with the same 4-6 month estimate. Got an email on 11/10 that my truck was scheduled for production the week of 12/5. If it’s early I certainly won’t complain, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Were you able to get a heated steering wheel? Dude at the dealership told me that they are not available on '23's. Just curious if he was pulling my leg ...

No heated steering wheel, and I also asked about the "auto start/stop delete" option, cuz I didn't see it on the 23 options (22 had that option it was an additional $50) My salesman said the 23s don't have the autostart/stop... he said the heated steering wheel and the autostart/stop feature must be one of the part shortages so ford got rid of them....

ok, got it. So, I was between making a deal on a '22 and ordering a '23 but I think I'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger on this '22. It's the spec I want anyway. Show pics when it comes in!
