Hey all, and happy Friday! For anyone that's recently taken a delivery of a new Tremor, are there any features (other than the stop/start) that's been deleted as a result of the chip shortage? Heated seats, heated steering wheel, parking sensors, anything like that? I've heard "stories" on social media, bit wanted to check here before grilling my dealer. Thanks!

They just pulled the heated steering wheel and heated mirrors. I'm gonna accept the truck. I'm getting a good deal on it and if it like the my24 year I'll probably get money back on it.

Thanks. Do you have a source for that?

The notification I got was to all trucks scheduled or unscheduled.
That’s what I thought but I wanted him to check so I have a good reason to get my deposit back. If they would give a decent amount off of the price I would probably keep it but it looks like they’re only discounting it a couple hundred bucks. For me to add that aftermarket I know it would cost way more than that.

This is really disheartening. These aren't per se "deal-breakers" but when you're paying $64k for a truck, you want it to have the features it's supposed to have.

My wife just found out the new Aviator she has coming will be missing the 30 way massaging seats. It's one of the only reasons she jumped up a trim level. I am sure it will be a deal breaker for her. $80K car we have been waiting on and find out just as it ships. Total BS Ford/Lincoln! If you order a vehicle it should come as ordered.

I picked up my Tremor from the dealership about a month ago and did not initially notice that it was missing the upfitter switches. Tried explaining this to the dealer and they kept saying it wasnt orderd with those as an option. I had to keep saying thats because its a standard feature not an option. They had a technician review the build sheet and they couldnt find any mention of upfitter or aux switches, only a mention of 6 switches.... according to the dealer these were not the same switches.

Ended up calling Ford Marketing for them to confirm that it is a standard feature to get the dealer to do anything. They finally deemed it as a misbuilt and parts are now on order, but still a pain in the ass. Really can't stand my local dealership (they never return a call), but they were the only dealer in the area I could get down to MSRP.

Damn, if my truck ever arrives I guess I’m going to need to do a careful inspection. that doesn’t seem accidental to me, seems like they are stealth removing features and not telling anyone.

Do you have any pictures of what it looks like without the switches?

Pretty obvious when I was looking at it later, but at the time of purchase you just kind of assume things are there.

That’s crazy. It made it all the way through the assembly line and inspection process and they didn’t notice it or care to correct it. Then your dealer plays dumb (or they are dumb). Sorry this happened to you.

I just received mine about 3 weeks ago after a 9 month wait. It’s an amazing truck. The smoothest I’ve ever owned.
That being said they took out the Nav, satellite radio and Adaptive cruise due to the chip shortage….. They did discount the Truck accordingly.
I can live without the Nav ( I run car play with google maps or Gaia gps) and Sat radio ( run Spotify with the Apple car play).
I will really miss the adaptive cruise though.

@JT BC Did you have any notice of those deletions prior to delivery/pick up?

Guess I need to make me a list of features to verify when I pick up….

I didn’t have any deletions to my knowledge before this…. I would verify your order sheet compared to your build sheet once it arrives.
The dealer said the guys that have been waiting on F-350 platinums are really impressed after waiting close to a year and no Massaging seats

If they take out the adaptive cruise control on mine, I'm refusing delivery. That is a deal breaker for me.

Is yours a 402A? Did they give you the option to add those back on once chips were available? It just baffles me how they randomly select vehicles to remove things from. I was already irritated that they removed the Park Assist without mentioning it.

I have the 401A. I ordered the next package up to include the adaptive cruise though.
They never offered to add it once the chips are available like the Heated seats on the GM’s
