2025 F-150 Tremor 402a
Hi everyone,

New Tremor owner here, picked up my Oxford White 2025 Tremor 402a last week. Coming from a 2014 Gen 1 Raptor most recently, this is a big upgrade in creature comforts. The Raptor was great but it was 11yrs old and started giving me too many issues this past summer (coolant lines ruptured on the highway, rear differential needed to be rebuilt, rust was starting on the cab corners). The straw that broke the camels back, so to speak, was the transmission failing…I could only drive it using manual shift mode and had to let off the gas completely between 3-4 and 4-5 or it would just grind and slip. Finally hit that point where it didn’t make sense to keep throwing more money at it – time to get back into something new again, with a warranty!

A few mods already done on the Tremor over the past week:
  • 295/70/18 Falken Wildpeak At4w’s
  • M&R Pro 40” light bar – quick to install, beautiful fit and finish and great light output
  • Hard tri-fold tonneau cover
  • Tremor orange tailgate lettering
  • Swing cases for tools
  • Tailgate seal kit
  • Raptor grill lights (installing this weekend)
  • Aeroskin hood deflector (installing this weekend)
I wanted to level the truck based on the factory rear block, but unfortunately I have to park underground at work and it would be too tall with the bigger tires and the stock rear height. The Tremor is 0.8” taller than my Gen 1 Raptor, I think mainly b/c of the antennas on the back of the cab of the new F-150s. I started with a reverse level on the rear blocks to drop it 1" and I’ve ordered a motofab 1.5” front spacer to level it completely. With the lower rear block it bought me room to install the 34” tires and still fit in the underground garage…I’ve got a good 0.25” to spare 😉.

Loving the truck so far, the tech is light years ahead of the gen 1 raptor. Also realized how much the cabin has grown since the 2014 generation, it almost felt like going from a mid-sized to a full-sized truck.

Truck looks great and I really like the looks of the light bar.

Congrats on your new TREMOR and welcome to the club and forum.
Window tint?

Thanks, the front side windows are 20% to match the rear.
Nice.
Yes, I know it’s illegal not to mention barely noticeable but, 50% or 70% on the entire front windshield would be perfect.
