New truck guy

I owned a 2009 base corolla for 15 years and out all of my pennies into retirement and the kids. Bought the wife new car.

FINALLY got a truck … black 402A with everything (already built good price).

Only regrets: should I have gotten gray or blue? Should I have gotten the 5.0? Why is my left ass cheek sore after 20 minutes?

Then I think… I don’t care this truck is great and I’m already driving it through mud and puddles … I used have a Corolla

Congrats and welcome to the forum and club.

Both engines are great but speaking for myself, I have the 5.0 because I’m more of an old school N/A V8 guy plus the sound of the 5.0 can’t be matched by the 3.5.

The TREMOR does have some nice color options so it can be hard to not have second thoughts afterwards. With that being said, you definitely have your exterior vehicle cleaning work cut out for you with an Agate Black one.
Is this your first black vehicle?

I wish I had an answer for your uncomfortable seat issue but so far, I haven’t had such an issue.

Yeah I didn’t special order it or would’ve gotten the v8 since I don’t tow much and love the sound.

First black… yes she is high maintenance! Going to do ceramic coating and see if it helps. I’m sure I’ll get tired of washing it after 6 month lol.

Yeah the seat feels like I’m slightly tilted to the left or the seat is slightly compressed. I imagine it’s just me. Still a bit annoying with new vehicle.

I did add a lomax cover and the bed rug. They are great!

I think I remember another member on here talking about the same seat issue.

You might want to do a search to see if he found a solution or perhaps another member will see this and point you to the posting I mentioned.
