I don’t have any problems with the tranny so far but wondering about the future. At his prices I’m skeptical of any value to say the least.

I have watched a few videos of the guy on The Car Guy Online YouTube channel. Tbh the channel just seems to be a schill for the guy and I can’t help but get a salesman vibe from the next gen engineer guy. I try to take what he’s saying in his videos with a grain of salt as I know he’s just trying to make a profit. It’s one of those things where he may be right but I also don’t think the sky is falling as he would make you think…


Curious of thoughts on this?

No Direct experience with him, but have been very interested in this. I watch that channel quite a bit. They try to bring it in perspective. We live in a bubble on the forums and in groups and the reality is, the failure rate is sub 1% of the total sales. They did a video on this recently. That being said, having had the valve body fail on mine at 58k miles and knowing how much worse it could have been if I was crossing traffic, something I have to do every morning, it's an issue that gives me pause when it comes to these trucks. If the nextgen solution can improve can give me some peace of mind with my kids in the car I am all for it.

In the middle of a lemon law case on my truck. So will have to see where we land with that before investing in any solution.

The guy seems to know what he is talking about but he is so insufferable to listen to, it has turned me off to him. I actually scheduled an appointment today to have my recalls addressed in a couple weeks, and I am also having them look at my transmission. I have that annoying whine that Ford claims is normal. I just want them to look at it and document it in case it implodes down the road. It shifts fine and doesn't give me any issues, except for sounding like I have a huge turbo hooked up to it.
