Off of chip hold early

I received the "Your Vehicle is on its way" email from Ford this morning. The initial blend date was 03/24/2022. It has been on chip hold ever since. The last estimate I got from the dealer was the week of 06/10/22 to 06/16/2022. So, this is a little bit earlier than expected. I hope this is a good sign for the other people in "Chip Limbo". Maybe things are easing up and some vehicles can get completed.
I have a delivery estimate of July 5-11. Another hurdle cleared, another step closer.

A glimmer of hope! I too had a blend date of 3/24 and have been on chip hold. No email for me though. According to Ford chat and my dealer ‘late July early August’ for delivery. We’ll see!

Wow, I noticed you ordered on 12/01/21. This is nuts that it is taking this long. You should have had yours a while ago. I ordered on 01/20/22. I don't know how Ford does the scheduling, but it seems messed up. I wish you the best of luck, hope you get that email soon.

Me too! I'd love to know a REASON why mine has taken so much longer than others but I doubt I'll ever get an answer. It's not like I ordered anything super odd or unique - 401a, torsen, sliding rear window, folding work surface, tow tech. That's it. I can't figure out where to put extra effort, how to lean in, or make stuff happen in this situation. So, I guess I'm resigned to just waiting and being at the mercy of Ford. Wish there was something I could do to push.

At least you weren’t on chip hold for 120+ days. It does suck but you’ve actually moved pretty quick. There are still guys who ordered in oct/Nov waiting on chip hold.
Hopefully the new dates stick!

My original order for the 2021 was put in last August and then switched to a 2022 in Oct. My truck has been in production since Jan 12.

That is just crazy! How in the world does Ford schedule these trucks? I really hope things start easing up soon. Good luck!!!
