It's too embarrassing
Everyone putting full synthetic in or synthetic blend?

I get full synthetic, holds up better in the 3.5, I ran blend in my 5.0, but decided after some research to go full synthetic oil on the 3.5, honestly not much difference in price.

First change or did you wait to add it? I usually change the oil at 2500, then at 5000 and every 5K after. I have the dealership do every service with their bulk blend and have had zero issue. If the oil plug is stripped or cam phaser rattles or anything. I just say “check your records, you guys are the only ones who have touched this thing”.

I did it at 5k and I go through the dealer as well, it's only $7 more for full synthetic at my dealer. I get it changed every 5k, along with tire rotation. Because I did this with my other truck and they had the records for the service they gave me an extra 5k for trade.

Nice, glad someone thinks like me. I might try it on this truck.

I did it at 500 miles, 5,000 miles, and every 5k after. I have the dealer do it for the same reasons you do but I take them my own oil and filter. Schaefers 9000 (full) 5w30 and Napa Gold Filter.
