Order date 16 - 22 JAN

So I've been lurking around here for months hoping to find positive information about getting my new Truck. I see there's a thread for the week of January 18th build, which I've been watching continually. I see a lot of you guys posting about getting your vehicles recently. I figured I'd just put out the feelers to see how many ppl place their order the following week January 16th through 22nd.

I ordered JAN 18th and still don't have a VIN.

My build is amb 402a with torsion, sunroof, spraying bedliner, bad utility package, interior work surface, b&o unleashed, auto stop/start delete, and tow package.

I've contacted Ford customer service and marketing a few times, and no one can tell me why it's taking so long to get a VIN. Just curious if anybody else is in the same boat.

I ordered the same build on 14 Jan 22. Nothing from Ford. I called last week and was told it should be scheduled in the next couple of weeks. I don't believe them. At this point I think a MY23 RAM Rebel with the new straight six turbo will show up first if I order one in August. There are still people waiting on F150s ordered last year that started as a MY21. WTF!! Those peopele should get their trucks built first. I think Ford is prioritizing the Lightning over ICE F150s for parts priority.

1st week of January…I ordered same package along with tow package. The difference is I did not get bedliner because dealer said it would delay it for extra months. I also did auto-start/stop delete.
Got my VIN a while ago and mine is slated to ship on 4/17.
Sorry yours is taking so long.

I would love to see the logic/method they are using to determine what orders to fill. On the surface it seems to not follow any predictable pattern.

Yea I am with TJE ordered mine before Christmas still no vin. I was excited telling everyone I was getting a new truck and nothing. One word of advice don't tell to many people because it make me mad explaining why I don't have my truck like it's my fault not Ford

I would love to see the logic/method they are using to determine what orders to fill. On the surface it seems to not follow any predictable pattern.

It's certainly seems like some weeks they just throw a dart at a map of dealerships whoever it lands on gets their vins. I know build plays a role, only thing we can figure out is it has to have something to do with dealer allotment as well. Some people have identical builds ordered at the same time, from different dealerships, and the build dates are drastically different.

Been there. Lots of "you get your new truck yet??". Followed by me saying "by July if I'm lucky"

Irony... After trying to explain it to like 6 ppl in a shop training session today, I needed to finally register here to see if I was still sane.

Sorry to hear that. I ordered on January 22 had a vin within a week my tremor arrived yesterday

That’s the truck I ordered. Just before Christmas. Seems I’m falling somewhere in the middle of the pack. Luckier than some, unlucky compared to others. Somehow that makes me feel better.

I ordered 1/17/22, VIN late Feb, in production 3/16. Delivery 4/17-4/23. Ford got me with the just kidding you'll just have to wait forever as you're on chip hold. I've joined the chip hold purgatory. 401a stone gray, only added a console vault safe.

They only rescheduled once and I was only on chip hold for about a week and a half. It was not supposed to be delivered until Between March 25 and May 1.

Console vault gets added at the dealer. I see over and over again delays with spray in bedliner. I got a vin as soon as I deleted mine. Dealer had it done and it looks good ..

I’m in the chip hold purgatory too. Ordered 2/8, in production 3/28 and was supposed to be delivered this last week of April but the dealer last told me “hopefully” they’ll get it sometime in May.
Mine is also a 401a with only adds being power rear window and bed utility package

Console vault gets added at the dealer. I see over and over again delays with spray in bedliner. I got a vin as soon as I deleted mine. Dealer had it done and it looks good ..

The dealers taking mine to Line X for about the same price that I was quoted
