Ordered my 2021 Tremor on 8/16

Hey everyone. Just created an account for this forum. Thank you to the creator of this place as I’m sure it will be a valuable resource for myself and many others. I just ordered my 2021 Tremor on 8/16. According to my dealer the scheduled build date is 10/18, so I was pleasantly surprised. It will be lead foot with the mid package level equipment group, moonroof, tow package, 360 camera, and B&O sound system. I sure like the looks of the leather in the high equipment group, but couldn’t justify spending the extra money on it. I’ve also had issues with car seats having a little too much wiggle for my liking on leather. Maybe the next one can have it . Previous truck was a 2015 F150 XLT Sport FX4 that I bought new and drove for 195,000 miles. I got the cart ahead of the horse a little bit and ended up selling it before the new one got here. Thanks! It served me very well. Never had to do anything major to it repair wise. I nearly bought a Trail Boss to replace it and then I discovered the half ton Tremor. Very thankful I came across the half ton version before I done something silly haha. After having a truck that served me as well as the last one I couldn’t see any reason to change it up.

Wow...I ordered on July 15th and mine is just being built this week. And that's with a Priority 1 order.

This is my build week also. Originally it was a 10/18 build week. I think it’s kind of a mess all around, even between dealers and manufacturers. Dealer told me on Friday night that Ford told them they weren’t prioritizing the higher option packages because of the additional chip requirements, yet all of the Tremor’s that have been built so far are the 402a’s from what I can tell. Seems like no one really knows what’s going on. They also told me today that they weren’t extremely confident in the 11/29 delivery date due to the trucker shortages. Who knows? Guess I’m just happy to see progress at least.

I was wondering the same thing why dealers got their Tremors (402a) first and the retail orders are last and held up because on chips.. I cancelled my Bronco order last year because of Ford making so many changes and I couldn't get what I wanted. Hope I get this Tremor by end of November. Good luck to your Tremor order.

It’s frustrating not being able to get what you want. Fortunately you didn’t order a Ram. My dealer sells all three and the Ram custom orders have been coming in without all of the options that the customer selected. They aren’t writing the check either when that happens. That would be terrible for everyone. I would’ve been very irritated if I would’ve got bumped to a 22 and couldn’t get lead foot, let alone not getting the features I thought I was getting. Good luck with yours as well. I’d say you are probably in good shape since this is your build week too.

If I got bumped to a 2022 I would cancel this one too. I traded a vehicle in plus the equity on it for the Tremor when I ordered in July. I've been driving my wife crazy with this truck not to mention when we were going to get the Bronco. I've owned 100's off cars mostly new ones but this is my first new order vehicle and I'm 69. I ordered my 402a on 7/20. Delivered 10/23. You may actually be better off to get a 2022 model now.

I've been thinking that too. We'll be getting 21s possibly after the first 22s are delivered.

The only reason getting a 21 this late in the game doesn’t bother me is because you can’t get a 22 in lead foot and I really like that color.
