Has anyone pulled down the overhead console where the aux switches are? Is it simply just push clips?

Yes it's just clips. Use a trim removal tool and go area by area. They are more or less in each corner. There are videos on it.

Not yet. My advanced security pack that goes up there (had it not been a factory delete) should arrive this Fri, so maybe next week I will get around to installing it and having the intrusion/motion sensor added back.

I tried to pull mine down today its tight I was afraid I would break something

Just use a trim tool and start at the back and work around the sides, there are two hooks on the front end, so don’t pull there first.
