Gents,

I received a $3k PCO that expires on April 4, 2022. My order was confirmed with Ford on December 31, 2021. If my truck does not arrive prior to the expiration date on the PCO, am I out of luck, or is there a way for the Dealer/Ford Marketing to extend the expiration date?

TIA

How did you get a PCO? Any tricks? I will likely take possession of mine within the next few months and that would be great to have at signing.

So to be honest, I had no clue what a PCO even was until my salesman mentioned it. So I came on this site & the Facebook Tremor group and did a little research. I contacted Ford Marketing for a F150 Brochure in hopes of getting a PCO. Sure enough I received it in the mail today. I called them sometime after 12/21/2021 b/c that is when I placed the order with my local dealership, but I didn't get the Ford confrimation email until 12/31/2021.

Hopefully that helps....

The # for Ford Marketing is 1-800-334-4375

I got one for signing either up for info on the Bronco or putting a deposit on a Lightning, either way it helped on the tremor!

Anyone that ordered from Granger get a PCO also?

Wait am I the only one that does not know what a PCO is? not ashamed of not knowing, that is why we are here LOL

Private Cash Offer. Basically a “gift certificate “ that ford sends you that goes on top of any negotiations you and the dealer make. Had no idea until mine showed up in the mail!

Sweet 3k or so sounds nice

My wife got a $2.5k PCO that expired Jan 4. I placed my order Dec 16th and email confirm by 20th. My dealer told me to call marketing to get the PCO extended until i receive my Tremor. Marketing said that isnt possible and would not respond if the PCO would still apply. Dealer is also confused on it. Guess I will find out on delivery day, but i assume i am going to get screwed.

SNIPES......Same here...this is my issue...(I just posted this on a new Thread)

I'm at a loss for words, looking for advice. I ordered my Tremor at the dealer on 12/21/21, and received the Ford order confirmation on 12/31/2021 - no issues there. Since ordering, last week I emailed my Sales Rep to swap out the drop in bed liner and add the Torsen. This entire time prior to me ordering I was told that I can make as many order adjustments as I wanted up until the Build date was received. After contacting my salesman for the change he stated he was going to give it to his manager and they would email me the order to sign and return to them. Since that time, I didn't get anything from my salesman, I've been waiting for them to send me the new order for me to sign. It literally should have been a price increase of $150, drop the drop in bed liner at $350 & add the front Torsen at $500...seems like it should have been pretty easy.... t

That leads me to today's PCO post. I received the PCO for $3,000. I assumed I could have used that on my order from 12/21/2021.

I went into the dealer with the expectation of making my changes to bed liner vs. Torsen & for them to apply the $3,000 PCO. The dealer advised me today that if my vehicle didn't arrive by the expiration date of the PCO (4/4/2022) they can't price lock the PCO and therefore I wouldn't be able to use it - so it's literally rolling the dice. I told my salesperson that you absolutely told me I could apply the PCO to the order if I received one...there was never any talk about taking delivery prior to the expiration date. I expressed my frustration that I can't control when the vehicle gets delivered. I'm also now being told that the way I ordered the truck is the way that I have to accept it, that I can't make any changes (mind you there is no build date). Once again, I stated that you always told me I can make changes up until I get a build date. I totally understand that after the build date you can't edit the order. This makes no sense why they are telling me I can't edit my order. I went ahead and ordered on 12/21/2021 just to get it in the system, with the expectation in a short manner of time I was goign to edit it - which i did, or tried to do. So now....... the dealership is telling me that if I want to use the PCO with a price lock, essentially no expiration date, I would need to re order a new truck...but there's a catch - it's $1250 MORE than what I already signed paperwork for. I asked where the change comes and all I'm told is that the prices went up in 2022. I ordered a 2022, so I'm not tracking where the prices went up. Even though I ordered in Calendar Year 2021, is there really a price increase in 2022 (I know the add on's went up, I already knew that when I ordered IE Bed Utility vs Power Tailgate $995 vs. 695 CO PILOT ACTIVE 2.0 $1595 vs $1995 in 2022)...this makes no sense to me....

It seems like my best bet is to re order a truck @ the $1,250 increase, essentially making the PCO $1,750 and being able to add on the Front Torsen. It would push everything back by about a month, which is fine b/c I am trading in my 2021 Trailboss, so I'm in no hurry. I just think it's BS they won't price lock the $3K PCO on my prior order, and can only add it on to a new order? If I cancel my prior order, not sure if it's actually cancelled, or the dealer will get the truck and just sell it on the lot....which I'm sure they won't mind b/c I ordered mine on X Plan so they will be making money (and yes, the PCO can be used on X PLAN). If I re orderd, it would be cheaper that what I initally signed ( if they won't apply the $3000 to the prior order)

Just confused, and sorry for writing an entire book, just looking for y'alls thoughts on this.

TIA

This isn't fair to us, we do our part as far as signing/buying a vehicle and contacting Ford Marketing...and Ford does their part taking FOREVER to build a vehicle which is out of our control, and we can't even use it. Just doesn't seem fair.

I had a similar issue, my PCO expired this month, $3k 🤦🏻‍♂️

ford supposedly has a 3rd party marketing company run its PCO program but you can't contact this 3rd party. So it's more than likely true it's out of "Ford's" control.

dealerships can't honor it or lock it in because they won't have a way to recoup that $, my assumption 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just keep calling in, although mine expired I have a new one already - hadn't received anything yet but expires in April.

Also- the cost of the truck itself went up mid/late December. My POS dealership made the 52x change to my order, 4 weeks AFTER I asked and hit me with the increase.

I cancelled that and ordered through Granger. Yolo.

Thanks for the info. I would go with Granger, but I'm buying on X Plan and it'll be cheaper to use my local dealer. My local dealer isn't some rinky dink small dealer either...I'm in Buffalo NY - it's a Big dealership (WEST HERR)......My X Plan came out to 7% discount...my INITIAL MSRP was 71880 and w/ X PLAN came out to 66945..savings of $4935....

I do agree with you on the dealership possibly not being able to recoup their loss by April 4, 2022 when it expires, but what I don't get is how can it be price locked on a new order that I would have to do (Subjecting me to the $1250 price increase, so making the PCO "1750") and NOT to my order I placed on 12/21/2021. If I order another truck, I'd essentially have 2 on Order but yet the PCO can only be applied to one....and I'd have to roll the dice on the initial order but yet the second order I'd be price locked in at $3k...doesn't make sense to me

So what was your price increase and WHY...did you sign anything at the time of order? I signed a bill of sale and everything

I read somewhere in this forum that there's paperwork for them (dealerships) to honor the original price whenever a change is made to an existing order, but I thought that only applies to adding/subtracting a feature/option... Not adding a PCO... Someone else may have more info on it.

I have the luxury of 3 Ford dealerships around me and they all suck. Lol only reason I went out to Granger is they've gotten so many good reviews on here and I wasn't getting ANY savings locally.

I hear you. I have to follow up w/ my salesman tomorrow so who knows what is going to transpire. I'll probably end up just re ordering, lock in the $3k PCO, get the Front Torsen how I wanted it, pay the $1250 addiontal (wherever the hell it's coming from) and then essentially get a $1750 discount off my X PLAN as a result of the $3k PCO... hope that makes sense..

I asked for them to add the52x the first week in december.. shoulda gone down $50 lol... when they made the change in January, it went up roughly $1k for the truck itself (not specifically the 401/402) - the way it was explained to me, any changes to your order are subject to the pricing at the time of change not when the original order was placed. Kind of crappy

Even if you sign the order form, that's agreeing to the price at that time I guess, idk if legally it applies to future events (changes) but they lost my business, frustrating to say the least.

Good luck! It definitely makes sense and hopefully they get it through and in time to cash in. Sorry for my sob story lmao not trying to one up 🤣 hopefully our tales can be a lesson for future tremor orders!

What is 52X…

I hear you if I make changes I’m subject to the prices at that time, not what I signed before (shame on me for changing my mind). I’m super frustrated but only thing making me want to go thru with it is that I’m getting X Plan, and now a PCO, Although it’s not the full $3 amount after the price change it’s $1750
