It’s definitely an interesting product.
If one doesn’t do it him or herself, a shop will probably charge $1.5K-$2.5K.
In my opinion, the only colors that’ll look right on a F150 is the gray or black.

How effective is ppf against pinstripes? Can it protect against stiff branches (the skins that leave “skip” marks)?
 
I used Plasti Dip on a camper van that I had and it worked pretty well. I messed up part of it and I was able to peel it off without any problem.

Yeah, it works well until you you rub immovable objects. Still protects but you need to replace the panel. Deep pinstripes and rub marks recover well with warm water or warm sun
