Decided to do a little active testing for the truck and headed up Palomar Truck Trail in San Diego. 70% of it is no worse than some rutted fire roads, but there are a few spots that surprise you. The truck did great on the way up though I may consider the level lift a bit more just for some added clearance after this adventure.
As I headed back down the way I came, I was quickly stymied by some jacka** that thought a conversion van with low profile wheels was suitable for offloading. Naturally he stuck and broken in a spot too narrow to get past; especially with the tow truck there trying to figure out how to get the van loaded and what to do then.
This forced me to take a different trail down. High Point Truck trail, is longer, narrower and much more technical. Lots of big rocks to work around especially without rock rails.
Ran into three groups of jeeps coming up and every single one said I was nuts to take a full size on that trail. Sufficed to say, she's dirty and the suspension is gonna settle tonight!
While it was challenging, I am really impressed with what the Tremor did today.
A couple picks from the trip... none from thr way down... busy dodging jeeps!

You tend to get that from the jeep crowd when they see a full size truck doing what many of them struggle to do. Wait till you tell them it's stock!

I have to agree. Telling them it's stock then making it down always tweaks them a bit.

Have you ever done Cleghorn ridge trail. It’s in the Cajon pass I15 North bound.
Ur more ballsy than me taking a new truck through that narrow trail. I’ve would have probably waited for the tow truck to get that dude out of my way. Nice pics and truck btw

I haven't done Cleghorn, but will add it to the list for sure.
High Point really wasn't my intention, and for damn sure I had that new truck moment!
Then the little devil on my shoulder conned me with the, "it'll be epic!" routine and I fell for it!
End of the day I swore it would not be a pavement princess!
