Powder coating or painting stainless fasteners

I am seriously considering the Air Design fender flares; however I am not a fan of the stainless hardware. Would anyone know if it is possible to powder coat or paint the fasteners so they don't stick out so much? Will have the flares painted Agate to match the truck and was thinking of having the hardware power coated or painted black to help them blend in more?

I agree with you. I was interested in them too, but not keen on the bolts. Bushwacker has a set that looks more like OEM flares. The only thing I'm uncertain of is the connection method.
