I installed my Power Commander last night. If you haven’t ever tried one they are a fun and effective way to adjust the throttle response of your truck in real time using the Bluetooth app.
I had one in my 21 TRD off-road and it was a must have as that engine is as slow as it is reliable. Anyways the Power Commander is a trip to have in the truck. On the max setting my buddy who drove his friends TRX says it feels very similar. I found the sweet spot for me to be in normal mode sport level 2. Plenty smooth and much more responsive acceleration.

I had a PC on my AT4. Huge difference. But…. On my tremor throwing it in sport mode gives me the same effect.

If you liked it on AT4 you would love it in your tremor. I planned on always leaving in sport to get the throttle response I like. Now with PC I leave in normal sport III and it’s smoother and quicker than in sport mode. Sport mode is now for off the line giggles.

Which one did you get? I don't see an option on their website for a tremor with the 3.5 turbo

Just ordered a Sprint Booster V3.

Drove the wife’s bronco today for a bit and just got done with the break in period. Had a chance to get into the pedal a little and it is much more responsive than our trucks. Can have her can feeling more peppy than mine!

Yes I said ‘peppy’.

The broncos I've driven while they feel "peppy" they are no where near as quick off the line, it's their smaller size matched with the suspension that makes them feel that way. Yes they are fun to play in, would love to have one just for offroading but I have more fun in the Tremor because of the looks "you get" and the fact you have to tackle obstacles in a different manner than a Jeep or a Bronco.

Agree with the fact that my truck is ultimately faster.

With regards to the looks, I haven’t had one stranger ask me about my truck in the two months I’ve had it but I bet we’ve had 15 people comment on the Bronco in three months. I’ve put 3x the mileage on my truck in that time also.
I keep telling myself “my truck is cool, my truck is cool…”

The bronco is the coolest vehicle Ford has put out since the first raptor, only speaking off-road vehicles, the Tremor is a hot ticket but looks similar " to those that don't know better" to the standard F150, I do however get a lot of comments and questions about it though. Even had my dealer call and ask me if I cared to bring it by so a guy could see one in person to determine if he wanted it or a lariat, he ordered the Tremor.

@Badmothertrucker @DGTremor1 I was curious how mods like pedalmonster / pedalcommander behaves in various drive modes? Do they make replace the throttle settings in our preset drive modes or do they get layered on top of it? ie what happens when the truck is set to eco but you have your ecu controller set to something with an aggressive throttle response?

Also I was curious how it interacts with 1 pedal drive, would a more aggressive throttle setting carry over to that as well? Thank you!

I’m 95% sure all of these throttle adjusters just adjust the sensitivity to varying degrees and they don’t communicate with the ecu. That being said, the sensitivity adjustments that these units make would be applied uniformly on all drive modes.

I’ve got the Sprint Booster and could test out the theory if I remember to.

Appreciate it. So you've been pretty happy having a throttle adjustment tool? Regarding drive modes I'm mainly curious if any changes in one pedal drive.

Actually I might return it. It does make it feel like sport mode without holding the gears which I like. I just realized that I made an impulse buy and money could be better spent on the coilovers I’m wanting.

Also, I might not return it because you can turn it on/off pretty easily and it’s pretty much like an adjustable sport mode on the fly. I asked myself the other day if this was a $300 option from the factory if I would have gotten it. The answer is 💯% yes.

Haha imagine if Ford charged $300 to get rid of throttle lag and called it a feature. We'd all buy it and bitch about having to do it. Thanks for the input!
