Hey peeps, I’m going to be getting components of my 6” BDS lift kit powder coated along with new BDS control arms in the closest color I can find next to our Tremor orange. I was searching for the correct paint code or color but couldn’t find.

If you know the code or color please share so I can tell my local powder coater.

The attached pics were my motivation but are an obvious different orange.

Thank you!

Also I have the same orange Fox shocks so it should give the undercarriage a nice pop.

This is what you wanted it for? My bad, um just now seeing this thread. That Emoto build was sick though!

I have color matched suspension components and have chromed a lot of suspension components. Looks awesome for the first year or so unless you use your truck. Then it gets rock chips and rust if you’re not on top of it touching it up or polishing it. I live in Utah and they salt the roads like crazy and even the best paint or PC starts rusting out once a chip happens. Then it starts looking like crap and you have to re do it. Leave it black and you can rattle can it back to perfection. Especially with new paints like Steel-It and POR15 that looks good and can be put on in the driveway. Just something to think about.

I rattle canned my TRD skid plate on my 21" 4 Runner and it held up 100% over the course of a year to North Carolina weather. I think the Powder Coat should only be more durable but since you mentioned the paint can can you recommend what color to get. I saw on the other post you rattle canned tow hooks and mentioned maybe clearing but didn't read about any color or code for the can.
