Just wanted to share these ratchet straps that are bolted to the box link mounts. The ratchets self wind when hitting the center button. It’s a pretty convenient bed add on.

Those are... Rad. 😅

I wonder how they would fit with the built right panels.

I’ve wondered as well but I don’t have them so can’t speak to it.

@Cranbery you have been given a mission, should you accept the mission you are to buy these, install with built right panels and report back......this message will self destruct in 5 seconds.

Don’t know about y’all but most of my hauling requires the tie downs to be close to the floor of the truck bed. These could be useful for hauling a couch, motorbike or holding something up against the cab or tailgate though. Probably not too good for hauling lumber.

Those are pretty rad. 10’ long and 1,200lbs per strap is nice too. I think I’d want mine oriented up and down (not side to side) as most of my strapping requires going up and over vs front to back (dirt bikes, etc). Would be really cool if they were on some sort of heavy duty swivel pin.

I was hoping they had some kind of lower tie down point too. Any idea if there is anything out there for this yet?

Well, I have four OEM cleats in my truck down low - one at each corner. Not ALL the way down, but pretty far down. Other than that, I don't know of anything. I think it'd be easy to come up with a custom solution - just back it up on the underside or backside with a robust mounting plate. (Ya know, don't just use self-tapping sheet metal screws and screw a cleat down to the bed or something.)

For sure on that, but keep a couple regular straps for that. It’s pretty hard with the small bed to haul much of anything but ass. Im thinking about holding fuel jugs tight against the back. Be pretty handy to always have them there.

Man that’s a killer idea! But the loss of functionality of the cleat May out weigh the 1 minute it take to open my ammo can and grab a ratchet strap. But damn awesome idea!

They have tie down points you can get that mount with the straps. You essentially don't loose anything if you get that. The real question is, how would justify getting 4 instead of just 2...

Saw that. Really cool.

Very pricey though, especially if you get all four.

Got the first use of them today and gotta say they are super handy and easy to use! My only real gripe is that it takes for ever to wind them back up after you're done with them. They have a freespool setting that makes it easy to pull them out and seem to wratchet down pretty tight. They claim to be rated at about 5600 pounds, but the strap seems a little thin for that. For most loads they should be plenty good enough and super convenient.

*Edit* Turns out, holding the red button will actually wind the straps back up. These things rock!

They don't self wind like a boat trailer strap?
