Raptor Finally Here

Well, after what seems like a decade of waiting, my new Raptor finally came in. Picked it up last week. I ended up trading in the Tremor and had no complaints with it, it was a fantastic machine. So far, huge difference with the Raptor compared with the Tremor. If I don’t get evicted from the forum , I will post periodically with updates and how it stacks up against the Tremor.

Congrats! I had a Gen 2 Raptor. Great truck, rides like it was on clouds. ….super soft. I disliked the fake exhaust noise pumped thru the speakers.

Enjoy! I actually like my Tremor more.

Doesn't the tremor also have fake piped in engine noise?

I don't have any interest in the Raptor (did it come with a pair of white Oakleys) but I am liking that huge garage!

I don’t believe so. If it does…..it’s way less than my Raptor. I have not noticed it in my Tremor. But my ears are getting bad anyway…..too many Metallica concerts

I think all the Ecoboosts have it, just less on everything that's not a Raptor. If you have decent speakers this shows the difference is pretty stark.

Cool. Didn’t know!!! It’s def not as noticeable as it was in my Raptor.

I didn’t know that either. I did like some things on my Raptor better but the sound was definitely NOT one of them.

Standing at the back of my truck where there are no speakers and hitting auto start it sounds very good to me

I think I saw something about it depending on the sound system. I read someone with the B&O Unleashed using forscan to turn it off, and it was already at 0

I have unleashed and it’s definitely on. Gets louder even when it’s in Sport mode haha. I’ve made a bunch of changes in Forscan so might play with that next

I usually have my music cranked loud enough I can't hear anything else so I guess I haven't noticed haha. You'll have to let me know what you find out. You could always crank it up higher!

when i used Forscan to change some settings (beep when leaving with keys, bambi mode etc) i saw an entry to disable piped in sound.. it was NOT enabled on my Tremor.
