considering these RC Vertex rear shock upgrade
Should be about $1000 installed, which hopefully is worth it given how rough the rear end bounces so much (IMO). It’s def rougher then the RAM with rear coils, but also seems stiffer than my 2020 GMC AT4 that I traded in which had Rancho factory shocks

Anyone do an upgrade? And if so please share specs and review of what you installed?

So far I’ve installed the RC front coilover level and 35s. Wish the Vertex system was offered from RC for the front end, as much better quality than the current system installed. I contacted RC and asked but no response yet.

Thanks in advance!

Honestly, if you have a jack, installing them is about as easy as it gets. I have the Eibachs and am happy with thrm

Thanks, I’ll look into the Eibachs too. They seem to always have good reviews

Was gonna have dealer install for $100-150 just so that parts/labor all warrantied is why

Basically anything that can accept between a 1.5" and 3.5" lift should be good for you. I'm guessing at $1k, the Vertex are substantially better than the $100 Eibachs.

The vertex are adjustable, with the reservoir. Just being adjustable should help fine tune for different loads and roads. I think it's a little steep on price but if I can't find anything else by the time I replace the tires I'll probably go with it as well. Although I'll shop around for a better price than the $800 RC sells them for directly.

I was curious if you ended up getting the vertex 2.5 rears and if so how do you like them? I'm looking around for rear shock options and I'm hoping to keep the factory stance for now. Would these allow me to swap out the OE rear shocks directly? Thanks!
