2023 Ford Tremor
I have my 2023 Tremor in for the thump in the rear. The tire shake or little bumps gives a clunk. See if they can fix...leaf springs? Also headlight frosting a bit here and there....crazy like someone else said for $80,000 Ford has that small design flaw. Great truck though whoot!! Anyone done anything to help eliminate fog I. Lenses...they don't touch it I guess unless it has a certain amount of water/condensation .

Can you tell us more about this sound from the rear? Keep us posted as to what the dealer says.

I was told by a Ford Mechanic it's the rear axel, something about smaller bolts or bushings in the new truck and it's common. My brothers 23 Lariet does it too. He said to bring it in and they would try to fix it but I'm not there yet. I think my front Torson diff is making noise too. The headlights all do that, I brought my 21 FX4 in and was pissed I was the first one, they had no idea they are vented, it's not a fault. They at first said they needed to have a certain amount of condensation for replacement but called me a couple weeks later and said it's normal. It's alot more noticeable here in Canada in the winter when you bring the truck inside then into the cold. Not something you would see much down south.

Interesting. I hear the odd clunk in the rear when going over small bumps, but nothing consistent. If you find out the details I'd be curious to hear how to fix it.

So I got it back yesterday. It seems to be quiet now. They said they had to clean a part where it was undercoated...also under the leaf springs they replaced a cushioning pad. I could hear the clunk backing up before or on small bumps. I could really hear it when I shook the rear left tire. Hopefully this fixes it. My truck was a 2023 I just bought but it sat. Bit for a year on the lots. It is good now cross fingers!!! Hope this helps others. Anyone have an idea on the fog in the headlight casings for getting rid of it or is it something we live with? Thanks,!!

They had had a few other trucks in with the same issue so they seemed to know right away about the noise.

Good to hear, I'll have to bring mine in.

As I mentioned, the headlights are vented. Do you park in a garage then bring it out into the cold? It goes away but will probably continue to happen if it's constantly changing temperatures.

If anyone knows anything different I'd love to know as well.

Yea I have the same problem in my 24 it sucks !! Will see when we take it to the dealer

I sprayed some silicone on the rear leaf springs and attachments. Quieted it right down. I had taken it in..but it had a little thump on the rear right still. Was quiet until it was oil guarded. The silicone quieted it.

They replaced the little cushion pads between the rear leaf springs with a thicker set. Seems to be working so far ...been about two weeks

I had it in for a second time...they replaced the little pads between the rear leaf springs with thicker ones....lasted two weeks so far without the clunk

Ah cool thanks for letting us know. Does your invoice have the updated part number?

Seems the dog in the headlights are normal seeing they are vented somehow? Strange but mine clear fast with the lights on....it has been minus 30-40 up here last week and they clear pretty fast. Interior fog only on bottom 5th until they heya up

I did not get an invoice. I just have them do the work. I will take a picture of the new pads soon!
