2025, it sits sometimes a week without starting, get the message on the ford app saying "Remote Services Disconnected".
Not sure what the voltage trigger is for this to happen but seems a little quick if the truck is saying the battery is low.
Anyone get this, and get it looked at?
Thanks

Haven’t let my Tremor sit that long. Know with software systems and proximity sensors and all it is a drain on the system. I went on a trip for 3 weeks and the BRaptor went into to sleep mode after 2 weeks. Now if I leave town for an extended period of time I hook it up to my battery tender. Some others may have different experiences but there has been previous threads on this.

Thanks, and yes, got it resting on a tender now.

I had that message start not long after I bought my 22 in April of 24. I called ford and she said the battery was going below 80% and that was threshold to disable these features to preserve the battery. My truck only had 5800 miles when I bought it but sat on the dealer lot for over 6 months. I replaced the battery and I have not had that remote service message ever since.

If I don't drive my truck every couple of weeks it will go into battery saving mode. I drive only about 7,000 miles a year and I'm doing about half that around Christmas time driving cross country. So I see this message a lot.

Mine also goes into sleep mode after about 1-2 weeks.
I haven’t even opened the door in almost a month so I know it’s fast asleep.😂

Like 23 did that when it was brand new had to jump start the battery on a trip. After that I was always getting the low battery messages. So I just ended up keeping it on a trickle charger. This summer and put a battery tester on the battery and it showed that it was bad. The dealer ended up replacing the battery under warranty. I must have forgot to put the trickle charger on the truck and I got the message on my phone. I just keep it on a trickle charger now I think if I daily drove it it would take charge now but it's a garage Queen most of the time

what's a trickle charger and how does it work? Do you have a link? Thanks

Amazon has a bunch of battery tenders. NOCO is a very well known brand. You can get cheaper or more expensive models. Depends on power and bells and whistles. On my last trip was over a week and the BRapter went into sleep mode but it started when I got home. It is just better to put on tender and avoid problems. I’ve got a tender for over 10 years with no problems. Works like a charm.

Another thing to know is there is a module at the negative anode of the battery. When you hook up your charger put the neg on the other side away from the battery. That module senses the charge and it sends that info to the computer. If you jump start you can go straight to the anode.

There's a ground (on my 22 at least) on the radiator support right in front of the battery I use for the trickle chargers that plays nice.

It's common if you're not driving it for a while and especially if it tries to do an update. I'd say mine usually lasts about a week and a half maybe 2wks of not opening a door before I get the message under normal conditions. Walking close to it with the fob or opening a door (i have power fold on lock active so having those flip open and close surely takes a good bit) drops that a bit. Few months back there were 3-4 updates back to back and it was bitchin every other day though. I actually just got the message this morning though so I'd imagine there's a new update pending.

My 2024 has been in the body shop since 11-22 and I got that message on 1-3 . I have been checking the location (I believe I’m starting to experience withdraw symptoms) to see if it has moved around the building. Now all I get is you need to drive your vehicle message.
No Sheet !?

I was getting that message minutes after a long drive. The remote start quit working on cold mornings. I put in an Interstate AGM from Costco (H8 upgrade size) and it's perfect now.

It's a small battery charger that maintains the battery. The better ones have more functions on them. Pretty sure all our batteries are AGM battery so you need one that has that option. I have at least 12 of them at my house charging various pieces of equipment.

I have a Noco 5 amp charger/maintainer

Even built my own bracket to mount it. Works awesome. Also have a little Bluetooth battery monitor that will report on how your battery is doing and broadcasts it to you daily.

I did the same thing.
:unsure:I wonder why I didn't just buy a lightning since I have to plug the truck in all the time.

Well, you better grab a new one while you can because this is the last year for the Lightning in its current state.😎
