Yeah you definitely took a hit. I don’t know what that piece is called either but looks to be part of the bumper assembly and I’m thinking it’s a whole piece replacement which is expensive. Probably better to just pay the insurance deductible and have it fixed with the OEM part. My wife’s Toyota just took a piece of ply wood that didn’t do that much damage but it cracked a headlight and the total replacement cost was almost 3 grand. I just noticed that you’re in Calif as well. We have so much of this road contstruction that the possibility of incurring further damage is a very real possibility. I’m on my third windshield on my Tremor and I barely have 4000 miles on it. Best of luck
