Nice! Any night shots? That’s right, with other led lights taking up switches, this ended up going on the Aux #4 position
Will post some soonNice! Any night shots?
2.5" Square clamp...Placed on frame barVery nice! Were the mounting brackets something that came with the lights, or did you create those?
F150Leds.com but be careful...site is very contagious LOLLooks great,
you got a link for the buy and also those nice ambers on the front?
This is a nice site...thanks for sharingBuy once, cry once. Do yourself a favor and get Baja Designs right out of the gate. They make a kit for mounting that includes wiring for AUX switch.
What package do you have that you are unimpressed with them? The video I saw looks pretty good for the 402A with the LEDs, curious if that's the one you are dissatisfied with?I am unimpressed with the stock backup lights. I'm looking at the Baja ones. It looks like the harness is only for the upfitter switch. Feels like it would be alot nice to wire them to the reverse circuit instead of a switch. Even better yet they'd come on when either the switch is flipped or you are in reverse. Anyone do something like that?
Raptor video doing what I am thinking:
If you order this harness from starkey: https://www.starkey-products.com/truck-suv-backup-reverse-lighting-wiring-switchI am unimpressed with the stock backup lights. I'm looking at the Baja ones. You can have it wired to do both. I had a local shop install mine like that, they just tap into your reverse lights with a diode.I am unimpressed with the stock backup lights. Add in tinted windows and pretty much any stock reverse lights suck. I also like the ability to flip my switch and use them for utility at night for loading and unloading things into the truck. What package do you have that you are unimpressed with them? I thought about this route but was worried about the extra draw throwing a code in these new computer trucks! I assume it’s all ok and no codes? You can have it wired to do both. I had a local shop install mine like that, they just tap into your reverse lights with a diode.
Haven't had any on my 2018 Gen 2 Raptor.I thought about this route but was worried about the extra draw throwing a code in these new computer trucks! I assume it’s all ok and no codes?
