New guy here and put in an order for a black 402A yesterday so I'm already impatiently waiting lol. But I've already got a list of mods going. Going to level and put wheels and tires on first thing But was curious to hear from guys about change in ride quality from going to 20" wheels. Going to put ridge grapplers on. Coming from an F-250 Tremor and this truck is going to be a daily driver with 98% of my driving is going to be on pavement. Glad to be here and thanks for any input

Hey TrTravis, hopefully your truck is built soon!

I think the type/brand of tires have more impact than the wheel size if you are mostly on road use. The Nitto RG are excellent tires and what I would switch back to after running a true MT for the last couple months.

The 20s I installed are great, look good (IMO), and not a major difference if any for everyday road driving.

I posted a few side by side pics of 20s next to stock 18” set up to compare.

Thanks and good luck building out your rig once you get it!

Thanks man, that really helps

I prefer the ride with more sidewall. Someone had put 20's with Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my Raptor before I bought it, I hated the setup. I went back to 17's and the ride quality was a night and day difference. A lot of tire options in 17 as compared to bigger wheel sizes. I run 315/70R17 with D rating at 35 psi and I inflate when towing. I don't think I'll put anything but 17's on every full sized truck I own from now on. Personally I think it looks proportionally better, but that's obviously an opinion.
