On My previous F-150 FX4’s I took to a local Rhino liner and had them tape off and spray on a rocker panel(s) following the then straight molding.
Always looked good, almost perfect but, we all know the owner (probably only the owner) could see any imperfections. This application always worked like a charm and performed flawlessly.
Nothing but compliments
The lines on the most recent F-150 bodies have the curvy rocker line, looks much better IMO, but does cause some angst in attempting this on my 2022 Tremor.
My question I guess is why can’t Rhino or Line-X create individual panels that are laser cut to be installed at home by a DIYer or by a local professional?
Hoping someone in here knows of something like this or maybe one of these manufacturers follows any of Ford threads.
