I purchased the Tremor-specific RC 2.5" level kit from their site.
The SKU for it is 51028

My 402A arrived and my dealership is preparing to install.
I get a call and they state that the strut won't fit.
The SKU on the strut box is 501059

Talking to RC, they state that the 501059 SKU is the part number for that specific strut in that kit and that they are the same strut.
The RC web site says the leveling kit is a "2.5 inch lift" and the page for that specific strut says 3 inch lift"

At the end of the day, is this the correct strut?
Will it fit?

Yes, this is the strut for the RC Tremor Leveling kit. It is a 3" lift for a standard F150 which will be 2" on the Tremor, the other 1/2" comes from using the lowering blocks in the rear.

Thank you for the confirmation. I appreciate it.

Glad you got it sorted! Off topic but I’m still very curious why they claim the Vertex 3” won’t fit

I have had RC confirm things with me.
My dealership will call RC so that they can hear it from the horse's mouth.

They are hung up on the following verbiage:

NOTES - IMPORTANT

  • Cannot be installed in conjunction with a strut spacer
  • ONLY fits models with 3-inches of lift
  • Rough Country N3 lifted struts are designed to replace strut spacers from pre-existing lifted vehicles only

I have that kit installed. They need to just install it and stop reading the specifications. It's because the tremor sits higher and every company is just using the same parts as a regular f150 but different measurement to what it will give the tremor in lift.

Also considered getting the vertex 3" kit but didn't want to guinea pig with the cost of them. I did the RC 2.5 in the front and vertex rears.

What they aren't understanding is it's a leveling kit not a lift, if the dealership understood that they might proceed.

Do the RC shocks need to be rebuilt at any crazy intervals? I'm the guy that normally rides the same shocks for about 150kmiles and long as they still ride alright.

Everything I have read, all the RC shocks including the Vertex are disposable.
