The time has come to add a child car seat and I'm looking to protect the leather Tremor seats from weight and wear. I've seen the WeatherTech and Lionheart mentioned on older F150 forums. Anybody here have any recs?

I've been using the WeatherTech for about 6 months. I would not use this again since it doesn't cover the seat back at all. It protects the bottom very well. But I've been meaning to order one that protects the seat back as well and switch over to that especially when my little guy starts getting dirty feet.

I got this for my 22 for the two monsters in the back seat (two 3yo boys) and it's been great. I wanted something I could pull off quick if I wanted! Cheap too!

It's called Duluth Trading delux seat saver (it's for pets but works great for kids and car seats)

I’m onboard with the front seat back protector.

As for a protector to go under your child’s car seat, be aware there is a lot of content out there advising against this.

I’m sure you’ll get those saying it protected their seat, but the more important question would be “how did it do in an accident?”

I have a car seat directly on leather in my current car. Nothing but some dimples in the cushion. I don’t plan on rocking an under car seat protector when my truck comes.

The Brica has been crash tested. If you got a 402a the seats don't even hold up to general use.

All great points. Safety is key, I'll definitely check out the Brica. The 402a seats wear pretty quickly, so want something reputable..certainly wouldn't utilize a "bath towel" as mentioned on other forums.

This is what I run for my child seat and 2 dogs, 4Knines Crew Cab Rear Bench Seat Cover with Hammock - Heavy Duty - Waterproof https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R8H3GKG/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_AA9ZNGTZN7F9NS99X832

It works really well and has been easy to clean and a year in quite durable.
