September 9th order date.

I ordered a MY21 lead foot 401A on September 9th. I didn't get the any of the items that seem to cause serious delays like the torsen front diff. They gave me a priority of 10. As of last Thursday I haden't heard anything from the dealer saying my order was excepted, no vin... Not a peep. So I went to follow up and I was told that I should be getting a Vin by the middle of the month... Does this seem normal? A month and a half to get a Vin? Has anyone ordered around that time and have more progress on their order?

For what it’s worth I ordered mine on 8/16, so just a couple of weeks before you. I believe mine was priority 10. I had a VIN within a couple of days. My build week was 10/18 but got moved back to 11/8 a couple of weeks ago. To my knowledge, 11/8 is the final build week for 21’s. I’m not overly confident that mine will get built. You should probably contact your dealer again.

Yea I was reading on the forum and starting to get concerned. The whole Vin number thing is freaking me out. The general manager came out and talked to me and said that I will for sure get a MY21, He also said that alot of the orders will probably be built sooner than anticipated due to the fact the trucks are technically sold and not dealer stock. I have no clue if any of that is true or just lip service to keep me the hook.

Everyone on the forum that actually had one in their driveway seems to be a 402a. Makes me think maybe they are building the most expensive ones first. That's a very good point! Most are 402a. ( My wife wouldn't let me spend the extra money). It makes sense for them to push the more expensive ones though. I believe there is a geographic component as well. I think orders in Canada for MY21 have been pushed to MY22 just some info I've read elsewhere.

My dealer originally told me that I'd get an email mid to late August so I was sweating it out when MY22 order banks opened and I had nothing. I'd highly recommend just staying on them.

A buddy of mine ordered his Bronco in February, got a build date of 9/7 in late August THEN a week ago (past the build date) got an update that his build moved to 10/18. Honestly its a crap shoot at this point.

Holy cow, this shows how disconnected the Ford executives are by putting out a statement saying they want to transition to people ordering vehicles and having less supply on lots. There is no way the mass populous is gonna be willing to wait 3-6 months for a vehicle. Soon Im gonna have to turn in my car that I did the lemon law on so I'm hoping to not be without a vehicle for months and months. I'm in California and I've been told western states take 3-5 weeks longer to receive

Order date of September 2nd. 402a, Torsen, B&O unleashed, was a priority 10 at entry, my dealership is hurting. 2 weeks in they said Ford moved me to a priority 1…but haven’t heard/seen a change whatsoever. I was really hoping to hear something last week! I’m waiting for the text from the dealer saying we need to re-order. I went with Velocity Blue but theyre dropping that color for MY22 and honestly don’t care for the other colors. Not sure if I’ll cancel or what I’m going to do.

I'm jealous! I really wanted that setup in lead foot. Velocity blue was my second choice. The other colors just don't do it for me either. One of the employees ordered a 402a with the torsen front diff and said it's on the "late availability" list so I had no choice but not add it to my order. Hoping Ford gets their stuff together and we all don't have to cancel.

When I originally looked at the Tremor at another Dealer, They had 5 on the lot with 4 more coming. But they had no 402a, and then when he showed me what they were all coming with, they were lacking some things I wanted. I didn’t want to pay for options I have no interest in, ya know. It does suck.

5 on the lot! So they are the ones hording them all lol jk. All the ones on the lots here the dealers wanted 10k dealer markup and wouldn't budge. I was able to find one to let me order with no mark up at Xplan pricing and the 1k rebate for ordering ... I was pumped till I realized jokes on me, lol my truck may not even get built.
