Should I buy a new 2021 I found or order a 2022?

Dealer is asking msrp on a 2021 402a package with generator and 36 gal tank. Should I ask below msrp at 67k? IDK what you guys are paying now.

That depends. Getting MSRP on a truck in today's world is good. You might qualify for a great incentive through ford. But if you want something custom made to your liking, then just put in a custom order. I put in a custom order for a 402a. Msrp was 68k but I got it at 64k due to a special program through my employer.

There are a couple dealers that have a 3% under invoice pricing structure for custom orders. Granger and Chapman, I believe. As I understand it, Chapman allows for alternate means of delivery.

It’s easy for dealers to offer below MSRP prices on vehicles they don’t have. If you like the Tremors available, I’d go with what you can get today. Who knows how long Ford is gonna take on 2022 orders!?!

I’d probably buy it. I had mine ordered 8/16. Build week was 10/18, then it moved to 11/13 with a delivery of 11/29, now supposedly the delivery date is 12/13. I won’t be surprised if they change it again. I’m pretty over it.

Difference between the 21 and 22 are the wireless charging pad for the 402A and they took box link out and moved it to a bed utility package and put the power tailgate in there as well and costs about 900 more

Leadfoot is out for 22 so if that is the only color you want then you need to find a 21 ASAP

Mine says the exact same thing! It’s said that for over a week. It went from in production to “not in the system”. I had the dealer look into it and according to them it was built but the delivery date got pushed again. I’ve never heard why, but I assume it’s due to the lack of truck drivers. So frustrating. I would go pick it up myself and give them the stupid $1,695 delivery fee for doing it if they’d let me.

I think I figured it out. They are now focused on 2022 Tremors. Our VINs are 21.
