I took my Tremor off-roading and now I need some touch up paint for the skid plate. I read on another forum that the Gen 2 Raptor skid plate is painted Ingot Silver (Ford Paint Code: UX). Do you think this is the same paint used on the 2021+ Tremor? Or did the skid plate paint change to Iconic Silver (Ford Paint Code: JS)??

You just had to start the next "Orange" drama, didn't you? ;)

Ingot silver would make sense being as it's the same skid plate.

Maybe take it to LineX or similar and have a color matched bed liner sprayed on it. Should be more durable. If you’re planning on off-roading much, I’d hate to keep up with paint touch up work.
Or, like ^^^ said, just leave it rough. Battle scars are cool.

Imagine a world where you could simply know the paint codes to the 70k truck you own.
Out of all the #@$% that you get that is never looked at when you take possession, a card with the paint codes would be a great addition. I also can't believe there would be much cost involved. Something like the card with the security pin code we all got. How convenient that would be.

Ford: best I can do is another trailer sticker and a QuickStart guide for the lock buttons

In Ford's defense (cant believe I am defending them), they follow industry standard of putting the paint code of the body on the door sticker. I would venture to guess that 99.999% of their customers never try to color match anything beyond the body. For the orange, that majority of that color is either plastic or stitching on the interior (which I bet are not exactly the same color), stickers on the exterior, and the tow hooks which are the only orange paint on the truck.

I love the idea of a reference with all paint codes, but doubt it will ever happen.

As for the OPs original question, I would bet its the Ingot.

I scratched up my plate within 24hrs of purchase 🙃. I put this duplicolor on it the other day real lazy like, it's a little lighter but blends in with shadows etc.
