Trying to figure out if I have an update issue and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Had the truck since May and not sure if any updates were installed. I just checked on the ford portal and it shows version 4.0.22012, which kinda resembles the build date.

Do you have your truck connected to your home wifi to be fed auto updates? If so I am sure you are good to go, if not I would set it up.

That's the Sync version that all the 22s have shipped with. They have not gotten any OTAs for sync, because they ship with all the features that the 21s are being updated with.

You also can't look at the versions from any other model or year, because there is no correlation.

Someone on another board just got a OTA for 3.5.2, but it is a "prep" update, so no features.

Other modules may update, but they would not be reflected in the Sync version number; that's just for the feature set.
