Since I had to delete the spray-in liner on my build I just planned on doing it after delivery. After seeing several others with the Bedrug I'm considering it now as well. So to those that already have one or the other - which do you prefer and why?

I'm going with a Bedrug. I had one in my Raptor and think it gives a finished appearance to the bed and makes it a bit quieter.

How would a bedrug handle blood? I deer hunt and wondered how easy washing blood out would be. If it is hard to get out, it would start smelling pretty bad too.

I put a bed rug in mine. Basically the same price - or less - than a spray in bed liner. Completely removable / reversible. It makes the bed WAY more comfortable to get in and crawl around if your activities find you doing that. Camping out of ours, we’re in it all the time. It provides cushioning for any sensitive cargo (furniture, painted items, etc.).
It’s my first one and I’m impressed. Literature says it can handle battery acid, solvents, etc. and you can power wash it. A couple more months to deer season though. 😏 We’ll see.

Rhino lining get it sprayed with the thick rubbery type, I originally requested the thinner hard coating almost like the factory, the guy who did mine changed it when he started doing it because he said it didn't look as good. I really love it, stuff doesn't slide around, it's not bad when you have to crawl into the bed and looks awesome. Spray it out and it comes clean, the factory liner I had in my 17 was ok but thin and rough, it would trap dirt and blood in it, was hard to clean out.

Bedrug all the way. This is my 3rd truck with it.
If you are hauling mulch or hay all the time, I’d stay away, but other than that it’s super easy to clean. 90% of the time I can take a blower and get everything out, then maybe a shop vac for more stingy debris.

Deer blood does come out-little soap and a power washer and good to go.

If you have tonneau cover (strongly recommend) and it gets wet and cover it, it can stink some-but I’ll just open it up on a sunny day for the full day and smell is usually gone after that.

So much easier on the knees and anything you want to haul.

If you want the best of both worlds-my last truck came with spray in liner so I went with the cheaper bedrug xlt. Doesn’t look quite as clean but just as functional and cheaper

I have had Bed Rugs in all my trucks since 2003 and have loved them. My truck had the Ford spray in liner and I just bought the bottom half. Instantly disappointed in both the Ford liner and the Bed Rug. Ford liner is really thin and feels like sand paper. The bottom rug is a really loose fit so debris will get between the rug and truck bed. Not a huge problem but will need maintenance. I will probably switch it out to the full Bed Rug. Velcro is the only real nemesis to the Bed Rug.

With just the bottom bed rug you could easily take it in and out for hunting or just take a trap with you to minimize the mess.

Full bedrug (current truck); bedrug xlt (covers bottom + tailgate) with ford spray in liner so you can see all 3 options.

It just comes down to how you use the bed. If you use it as a truck, get Line-X, it's tough as nails. If you use it more like an SUV, Bedrug is a good choice. I went with Line-X and couldn't be happier.

Would have been hilarious if you had just left it at the first sentence. 🤣

To those that have the bed rugs, are most of yall running tonneau covers with it or nah? If not, does much water get under the rug during rain? I ordered my Tremor with the spray-in liner from Ford, but wondering about just having them delete it and going with a bed rug xlt.
