I noticed this pattern/texture at the 6 oclock position of my steering wheel today for the first time in 7,000 miles. At a closer look I wonder this is the beginnings of a crack. I noted that the 6 oclock position is where the steering wheel heating element is the warmest. Could this have something to do with it? In any case I believe this is covered under warranty, hopefully I'm right?

They might give you a new wheel with the heating element removed.:D

Heated steering wheels are easy to get. The clock spring is what no one can get.

I have those lines at 11 o'clock I noticed 🧐at 100 miles.

Something similar was happening to the King Ranch steering wheels, one guy reported his dealer replaced it without any argument.

Well shit, no I need to go check.
